Role of the HS Counselor

• Address social / emotional needs• Assist with college & post-high school

planning• Assist students in planning appropriate

course schedules and determine how to best achieve educational goals

The counselor is the one person who sees the entire picture of a student’s 4-year high school career and who can bring all that information

together.
