Qualifications I am a qualified crane operator, rigger, mechanic, crane inspector and overhead crane. I am a certified crane trainer in operation and maintenance of offshore hydraulic cranes. I have operated all types of cranes from an EBI 5ton to an Amclyde 100 ton. I have been certified on Braden winch repairs as well as Detroit Diesel inline 71 and V-71 engines, Deutz 2008/2009 engines and Deutz 912/913/914 engines. I have been trained in Hazard ID and Assessment and industrial hydraulics and forklift safe operation and maintenance, as well as water survival, lock out/tag out program and OSHA. I have an up to date TWIC card and PEC - Safe Gulf card. I have worked overseas and have an up to date passport.

Duties as a crane operator. Comply with all API standards. Fill out paperwork for daily inspections, JSA's and lift plans. Inspect rigging equipment on a daily basis. Do general maintenance to the equipment such as oil changes and filter changes and lubrication of critical points. Make sure all safety systems are working properly. Offload and backload motor vessel with equipment or personnel in a safe manner.
Duties as a crane mechanic. Inspection of equipment as per API standards. Assist crews with repairs as per API standard. Complete all paperwork for inspections, JSA's, repairs or maintenance done to the equipment. Report any deficiencies found during inspections and repair within a timely manner. Inspect all rigging for damage or defect and document any damage or defeats.
