About Community Christian Concern

CCC helps those individuals with true needs

urgent problems requiring immediate, short-term

solutions.Emergencyassistance can take the formof: food, clothing, shelter,prescription assistance,

emergency travel, and personalitems. We also

serve the homeless population in the bestattempts

to help them in meeting their basic needs.

Created in 1983, Community Christian Concernwasfounded by the Greater Slidell Ministerial

Alliance and in-terested individuals as a centralizedassistance agency forthe Slidell area. CCC was

originally operated from a smallarea at Dudley

Smith Printing.

Since opening in 1983, CCC has touchedthe lives ofover 200,000 people.
