When residents at 1 Seaport in the Financial District move into their apartments in 2018, they

will have access to a very special, very rare amenity: yachts.

Specifically, they will obtain a free membership to the Barton & Gray Mariners Club for the

2018 season, allowing them to rent a yacht up to three times a week.

To celebrate the launch of the yachting amenity, the sales team at 1 Seaport hosted a yachting

trip across the East River. Brokers and media gathered at Skyport Marina to board a Hinkley

boat, which carried them all the way to River Café in DUMBO. There, guests dined on a meal of

arugula salad, sea bass and chocolate mousse cake shaped like the Brooklyn Bridge.

Notable guests of the event included Fredrik Eklund, Luis Ortiz, John Gomes, Howard Lorber

and Julia Spillman-Gover.
