The cemetery records collected by Samuel Piper in the 1930s were typed by theConococheague Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Piper visitedcemeteries throughout Washington County, walking row by row, copying what wason the marker. Many of these markers are illegible today with damage from theelements. The records are being added to the Whilbr website at digital.whilbr.org,look for Washington County Cemeteries - Samuel Piper/DAR.
