But what many don't realize is the behind-the-scene trauma with incessant chattering of teeth, cold chills that are bone deep and a sense of discomfort that never makes it to the camera. Such is the story of Tara Alisha Berry and Anshuman Jha - the leads of the web series Mastram, based on a real-life writer in the 80s and highlights how a whole generation was liberated through his stories that were sold at railway station stalls, small roadside and pavement shops in North India through the 1980 - 90s. With the temperature being at minus five degrees, the actors had to shoot a sensual scene in the chilly mountains of Manali and Anshuman shared an account of that shot saying, "Our schedule in Manali was quite a rollercoaster ride. It was an adventure", he laughs. "The scene where Tara and me get intimate was shot on a day when it was - °C and that too by a lake. Speaking the lines normally without our lips shivering was a task. So, after every shot we would run inside a blanket. But we soon realized after the first two takes that it's better to remain in the hugging posture as it kept us warm, instead of running in and out of the blanket. Thank God for our friendship. Sometimes, you need to turn every possible distraction into action and on this occasion, nature helped us to build in the chemistry."'Mastram' features 10 masale daar stories of passion that intertwines with turbulent day-to-day scenarios from the real life of Mastram - the quintessential writer of this era who spoke the lingo of the Hindi heartland - literally!
