FreeSpace® E4 Series II System
Presenting a better choice for system designers…
A lot easier to configure No multiple components to hand-wire.
A lot easier to stock One SKU replaces many.
A lot easier to install Fewer components, fewer wires, less time.
Introducing the
The heart of a business music system. All in a single component.
The Bose® FreeSpace® E4 Series II System
A lot. A lot easier.
The heart of a business music systemin a single component. The FreeSpace E4-II system has everythingyou need for most business music systemapplications. Signal processing, amplificationand unique business music system featuresare all in one component that fits easily ona shelf. There’s no need to purchase, con-figure and mount racks of electronics – pro-viding faster, smoother installation with lessbusiness interruption and downtime. The E4-IIsystem delivers music and pages wherethey’re needed – in up to four separateareas – inside or outside. And the system isengineered specifically for the demands ofcommercial applications like retail, restaurantand hospitality venues.
Run the business, not the music system. With the E4-II system there are no knobs toadjust. The E4-II system can automaticallycontrol the music. You can schedule eventslike power on/power off, and preset volumelevels and source selections by time or day.The E4-II system’s innovative design lets youconfigure a suite of Bose® proprietary andpatented technologies to meet the specificneeds of each installation.
Busy times or quiet times, the music isnever too loud or too soft. Many business music systems require a sepa-rate component to provide automatic volumecontrol – usually one for each zone of music. These conventional components respond toloudness in the room without differentiatingbetween music and noise. As the ambientnoise increases, conventional systems increasethe volume. This adds to the overall volume, triggering the system to increase volume evenmore. Eventually, it’s too loud in the room.
The FreeSpace E4-II system’s Auto Volume usesa proprietary algorithm to maintain a constantrelationship between the music in the roomand the noise of the crowd – in up to four sep-arate zones. Music volume automaticallyremains at the desired level relative to theambient noise in the room.
In addition, the E4-II system distinguishesbetween sustained changes, like the level ofconversation, and short-duration events, likea loud burst of laughter, reducing suddenand unsettling spikes or drops in the musiclevel.
Four areas of sound. One cost-effective solution. The E4-II system includes a 4-zone 400-wattamplifier with proprietary Power Sharingtechnology that dynamically allocates theproper amount of power to each zone. Forexample, a restaurant music system may need210 watts in the dining room, 110 in the bar,62 on the patio and 18 in the restrooms. TheE4-II system efficiently distributes the powerneeded to each area – eliminating waste andreducing the need to buy, wire and installadditional amplifiers.
A business music system engineeredspecifically for business. Now system design, installation and servicecan be faster, more reliable and morecost effective – creating better solutions forbusiness owners. In addition, the E4-II systemis engineered and tested for demandingbusiness environments, and it’s backed bya transferable five-year limited warranty.
