o Pedhi river (Notified A-II Class) approx 8 Km away from the project.

SRO reported that the land marked by MIDC for the HRTS is about 75 Ha as per the proposal initially 10 Ha will be developed for SSHEHS. For the disposal of the 36% of treated effluent i.e 1.8 MLD it seems to be adequate. However for the total quantum of treated effluent disposal it seems to be inadequate.

SRO opined that if CETP adopt HRTS system for the disposal of treated

effluent after few years water logging capacity of soil will totally disturb and it

may create chances to surface runoff to adjacent nalla which ultimately

meets to Pedhi River (Notified A-II Class), therefore the treated effluent shall

be given to the respective industries only and after MEE crystallizer HW can

be sent to CHWTSDF Butibori. Recommended subject to Zero Discharge of

effluent.

incinerator. 10. For treatment of domestic effluent PP has proposed to provide septic

tank & soak pit. 11. As per the agreement with MIDC, the land is allotted for CHWTSDF

activity only. – page no. 66. 12. In view of above we may call additional information from project
