Having designed, manufactured and installed Friction Stir Welding machines around the world, MTI's Manufacturing Services has leveraged that in-house expertise to offer world-class friction stir contract welding capabilities:

• Joining multiple extrusions into wider panels.

• Joining covers to complex fluid paths on heat sinks and pressure vessels.

• Simultaeously perform two-side welds on thick panels and two skin extrusions.

• Joining multiple single-wall extrusions to stiffeners.

• Exceptional weld capacity maximum size greater than 60 ft. long by 18 ft. wide.

• Able to join four feet wide sheet stock up to 1.5 inch thick.
