The Safety and Enforcement Division has prepared Resolution SX-108 for the February 27, 2014, Commission Meeting. The Resolution grants approval to the Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension Construction Authority, on behalf of Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, to deviate from the provisions of General Order 75-D by modifying the duration of, and adding directional shrouds to the audible component of the grade crossing warning devices at the Mayflower Avenue, Magnolia Avenue, California Avenue, Mountain Avenue, and Buena Vista Street grade crossings of the Metro Gold Line Foothill extension Light Rail Line in the cities of Monrovia and Duarte, Los Angeles County. The Communications Division has prepared Resolution T-17434 for the February 27, 2014 Commission Meeting. This Resolution recommend revised surcharge rate of 0.464% for the California Advanced Services Fund (CASF) effective April 1, 2014, until further revised by the Commission. All certificated telephone corporations and interconnected Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service providers shall apply this new surcharge rate on revenues collected from end-users for intrastate telecommunications services effective April 1, 2014, and thereafter. The Communications Division has prepared Resolution T-17438 for the March 13, 2014 Commission Meeting. This Resolution sets the annual fee for the fiscal year 2013-2014 to be paid by each video franchise holder.  This fee will generate revenue equal to the Commission’s authorized budget for implementation of AB 2987, the Digital Infrastructure and Video Competition Act.
