Presenter: David Charmichael Catholic School Council Training A framework for an effective Catholic school council including the 10 key elements to ensure a flying start at the beginning of every school year. Presenter: Ian McDermott High on Life A pro-active response to drug and alcohol use. Not just another “don’t do drugs” program - it has a positive message where teens can see for themselves that there are healthy alternatives to substance use. Presenter: Michelle Griepsma Teacher - Parent Partnership Perspectives on teacher-parent relationships from a newly graduated teacher and an experienced school administrator. Presenters: Dr. Ashleigh Molloy and Christina Poto Positive Intervention Focus on the important fact that as educators, parents, and those caring about individuals with special needs we have the power and responsibility to modify environments to keep everyone safe. Presenter: Ed Mahoney Family Devotions in the Home and in School Council Introducing two projects that promote parental involve- ment and engage Church participation.
