We congratulate the students pictured above for their outstanding work at

OCHS! They were nominated by teachers and staff because of great work and

good attitudes. They received T-shirts and Subway gift cards compliments of

the OCHS Youth Services Center. Names of these students are not listed

because of internet safety regulations.

Decker in Study Skills and EBD.

I have been married to my husband, Barry, for 34 years. We have a daughter, Chessie, who is married

and lives in Owensboro. She and her husband, Michael, have a son named Gabe. Our son, Thomas, attends OCTC and our youngest, Elliot, is a freshman

at OCHS.

I enjoy four wheel riding, swimming, riding my bike, camping, treasure hunting at the creek, cooking, and

mostly spending time with my family.

I have 4 dogs, 4 cats, and 3 horses.

Important Information About School Calendar

At the September 19, 2013 Ohio County Board meeting the Board voted to amend the 2013-2014

school calendar. This amendment will allow us to have a Planning Day to analyze testing data and to

discuss improvements/modifications that need to occur. Students will no longer be in school on

Friday, October 4th. Again, no school for students on October 4th. Students will not make up this day.

We will have 173 days of school instead of 174 days for the 2013-2014 school year.
