Stephanie Myers coaches the eight-member football cheer squad with assistance from Jordan Mosser.

There are a total of nine members, with eight members cheer-ing for football season and eight cheering for basketball season.

In July, practice for football season begins. During the school year, they practice twice a week for two hours.

During the football and basketball seasons, the girls decorate the players’ lockers, and make them game-day treats.

They also paint weekly run-throughs for home football games and make signs and banners for the gym and hallways.

They participate in the “Glow Show,” where the marching band performs their half time show in the dark. The squad dances with glow pom-poms and make special glow in the dark T-shirts.

The girls also perform during the Pandora-Gilboa “Meet the Team” night.

For homecoming the squad plans spirit week and participates in the parade before the game.

The squad is also involved in the community. They also hosts a Little Rockets cheer camp for the midget and junior cheerleaders, and host fundraisers.

Mid-week they had a water balloon fight, and at the conclusion of the camp they had a cookout.

The 27-member band is directed by Erica Lucas.
