Message from Mrs Williams

‘Fairway Fest 2019 Special Edition’

The sun finally came out just in time for Fairway Summer Fest 2019. There was lots to do including,

bouncy castle, giant targets by Rush, many stalls and a delicious BBQ. We had visits from St John Ambu-

lance, the local police, fire engines and an ambulance: we were definitely in safe hands.

Woody, our therapy dog, met the community and KS1 children performed a dance they had learnt in extra

-curricular sessions. Staff and pupils contributed with our Gardening Club selling all home-grown plants

and hanging baskets.

The community was in good spirits with local residents visiting, former pupils and our newest children, who

will be joining the family in September.

Popcorn, ice-cream and delicious cakes were in flow, whilst children enjoyed lucky dip, Tombola and glitter

tattoos. We also welcomed local businesses, who could not comment any more positively on our school and

requested their spot for next year!

Thank you to Friends of Fairway for their hard work and dedication; a huge success.
