Fritz and Cindy Meier | Gleanings for the Hungry Dinuba, CA
The mission of Gleanings for the Hungry is to feed the hungry of the world both physically and
spiritually; our family has served here since 2003. About 3,000 volunteers yearly help to produce dried
fruit in summer months and dehydrated soup mix throughout the rest of the year. Other shelf-stable foods
are also procured; every year we ship approximately four million pounds of food to Christian
organizations, mostly in the third world. In turn, these missionaries share the love and gospel of Jesus
Christ, along with the distribution of food. As volunteers serve, their heart for the needy and love for
Christ grows, launching many into missions or future service in their communities. Currently, we oversee
every aspect of the ministry as directors. We have also led numerous Discipleship Training Schools
(DTS). A DTS is a five month course which includes three months of training and a two month outreach
in a foreign country. Lives are discipled and transformed by attending the DTS; people are saved through
the provision of food and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Eric & Liz Hiett | CRU Monterey Coast/Central Valley/S. Nevada
Fresno, CA
Cru exists to provide every student with an environment to investigate God, explore the idea of having a
personal relationship with Him, and grow in community with one another. We offer students a chance to
know Jesus and to make Him known on college campuses all over the world.
Cru is committed to helping proclaim the gospel throughout the world. The context of winning, building
and sending most often occurs best in relationships.
We want to equip students to share their faith with those in their community. We offer what we call 1027
groups taken from Luke 10:27, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your
soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”
Groups are designed to reach every student on the campuses in the Monterey Coast, Central Valley and
Southern Nevada and provide the opportunity for them to know Jesus by loving God and loving others.
Groups consists of time in God’s Word, prayer, evangelism, discipleship and accountability. Our goal
is to raise up student leaders to coach and equip them to reach their campus for Christ.
Don & Cathy Allsman | Completion Global McKinney, Texas
Completion Global seeks to bring innovation for the Great Commission. They do this by training
prisoners to be effective in ministry, by helping churches get involved in world missions without leave
America, and by forming partnerships among several missions organizations.
Kelsey & Dane Schuett | InterVarsity Christian Fellowship Santa Barbara, CA
The Schuetts are campus staff ministers at UCSB and Santa Barbara City College. “Our goal as
missionaries to college students is to see students and faculty transformed, campuses renewed, and world
changers developed. We do this through discipleship, evangelism and outreach, Bible studies, and other
events like our “Common Ground” large group meetings and conferences. Our main goal is to disciple
students to become "leaders of leaders" on their campuses, where they do the work of sharing the Gospel,
leading Bible studies and outreach, and discipling their peers. We have a thriving community at UCSB,
where our student leaders have taken ownership of their campus and truly have a heart for the spiritually
lost. At UCSB, we have ten student leaders, ten Bible studies, four Intervarsity staff members, and 50-60
consistent members in our community. At our Ignite conference last weekend, three of our students either
re-committed their lives to Jesus or decided to follow Him for the first time! And many more of our
students decided to participate in the “evangelism cohort”, a course designed by our regional leadership
to equip students with tools to make effective invitations and share the Gospel in clear and helpful ways.
Kelsey is full time at UCSB. Her current passion is for Greek students (primarily sorority girls) and
development of our UCSB leaders! Kelsey is determined to help our UCSB leaders go deeper in their
faith and to make disciples- students who are bold in making invitations and loving their fellow students.
Dane spends half of his time at UCSB and the other half at city college. His current passion is for
evangelism at city college, worship ministry and reaching out to students majoring in music on both
campuses, and investing in potential students leaders at city college. Dane is also creating and running
our “Year of Biblical Literacy” curriculum for our UCSB student leaders, which has been an
enlightening and powerful journey so far.
Please continue to pray for us! Pray for continued spiritual health, maturity, vision, and growth for our
communities at both campuses. Pray for God to continue working in and through college students in
Santa Barbara. Pray for both of us, our marriage, our budget, and that God would continue giving us
vision for the future.
Dale & Marti Fisher | CRU TLM Redlands, CA
We train pastors and church leaders in various countries, like Cameroon and Kenya, in personal
character development, leadership, and multiplication so that they can lead multiplying disciples who
start and multiply small groups that form multiplying churches. Our vision is multiplying spiritual
movements everywhere. In addition we minister to international students from the University of
Redlands through a weekly evangelistic home Bible study and disciple students one on one. We do this
with the Transformational Leadership Movement (TLM) branch of Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for
Christ).

Cynthia Boline | InterVarsity Christian Fellowship Idaho
InterVarsity is about establishing and advancing witnessing communities of students and faculty who follow
Jesus as Savior and Lord: growing in love for God, God’s Word, God’s people of every ethnicity and culture,
and God’s purposes in the world. InterVarsity staff & students proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ on
university campuses. We pray & work so that students' lives might be transformed, the campus renewed, and
world changers developed. Through Christ, I nurture students in their love for God & teach them to call other
students into relationship with Jesus. Empowered by the Spirit, I train students in Christian principles of
leadership to use on campus, in their churches, & in the world. Coaching students as they design & lead outreach
events, Bible studies & mission projects are other ways I invest in this generation of collegians. I consider it a
privilege and responsibility to disciple students as they are being formed in Christ-like character in the hope that
they enrich the global church for the duration of their lives. I am also in a role with InterVarsity Link, offering
Spiritual Leadership and Ministry Partner Development (MPD) acumen in seeing Link staff thrive. The staff will
be in any of 90 countries. I'm thrilled to be involved in what God's doing GLOBALLY.
What is IV Link? InterVarsity Link staff (American IV staff who go to learn from & serve on campuses in other
countries) engage students with the Gospel of Jesus Christ on college campuses around the world through the
International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES). We do all of this in the context of another culture, often
in another language, and always in partnership with local believers who invite us in and lead us along the way.
We serve under local leadership, striving the meet local goals, and using local ministry methods.
What is IFES? Currently, there is an IFES presence in over 170 countries around the world to establish and
support student-led indigenous Christian movements via planting new student ministries in unreached campuses,
cities & countries, evangelism, engaging the university, helping student think biblically & live missionally,
developing leaders.
Kevin and Cynthia Smith| International Student Christian Association University of Arkansas
“We are a group of international students who seek to develop strong friendships and to learn and
follow God together. We have two houses, one for Men and one for Women, where you can live in
community with other International Students…We pray together. We worship together. We party
together. And we learn about Jesus together.”
Steve and Ros Bagwell | Wycliffe Bible Translators Waxhaw, NC
Steve and Ros Bagwell are members of Wycliffe Bible Translators serving at a technical support center
in North Carolina. Steve works as a web app developer and Ros as an Accounts Receivable
assistant. When people only have access to the Bible in a language that is not their own, most of them
either don't understand it or are not interested in it. There are still over 2,000 languages in need of
translated Scriptures. Wycliffe is working with partners around the world to bring that number down to
zero.
