I’m really fascinated by lines, and where they go. They give a page a touch of structure which I’m looking for when making a magazine. So in this issue I’ve tried to not go over board with them but played around to give spreads a certain elegance and uniqueness that’s me - well, ok, still working on that personalized stuff.

It’s May, it’s spring, and my yearning for summer, sun and bathing suits have never been this strong. This month has been much about dreaming away to various locations where days are spent endless at the beach, in the water, by a pool and where the temperature is pleasantly warm.

I’ve also changed the structure for this month, making categories into chapters, which I think is suitable for this blog-turns-into-magazine. I haven’t put everything I’ve published, only the best.

And I also made the fashion pages come first, for they might be more interesting to read.But don’t miss my “safe summer”-spread (p30), I’m kind of proud over that one and I hope to be making more of those in the future, maybe some magazine exclusives. And on p8 I show you what I’ve learned to pack when going to a festival.

As always, I would love to get feedback, good or bad! Even little details about if I’ve missed something, I would hugely appreciate. A magazine isn’t all about the index, but about the readers. So with that in mind, I’ll leave you to explore this May-issue.

Now, it’s so that my festival days are over, but if nostalgia would hit me this is how my packing would look like:Summer Nights in tents are nothing to play with, I made the mistake once not to pack any pants / leggings at all, and my sleeping bag was probably one of the lightest on the market (but it was easy to carry). So some kind of leggings and sweater is a must

for those cold nights and a bit chillier days.A jumpsuit is probably one of the best pieces you can have during the summer; it’s comfortable and versatile. I live practically in mine the whole summer out. Ideally, you want one with some embroidered details like this red one from Haute Hippie.If you’re gonna camp, leather boots or rubber boots are preferred.And for some reason there’s almost always one day that’s gonna be rainy, then a rain jacket will come in handy.

the zebra pants. The first thought that strikes your mind is: hard-to-wear.

But after looking at it a little closer you realize it’s like any other pair of jeans out there, only that they have that little extra that “spices” up one’s outfit. It’s that pair of jeans where you don’t have to think about anything else, or, you run your race with a neon-colored or sparkly top for evening. And during the day, it is enough to throw on something simple like a turtleneck or a blouse.
