From lawns to heavy-duty industries (our belts are everywhere)

Transmission belts come in all shapes, sizes, specifications. They are used for purposes ranging from gardening to heavy duty industrial usage. Pix Transmissions makes a very wide range of belts for different purposes, including: Lawn master belts:

Lawn and garden belts are exclusively designed to withstand the rigorous working conditions of grass machinery applications. They are designed and manufactured to exactly fit into all popularly available lawn and garden machinery.

These belts cover majority of garden applications. They are designed to withstand the rigorous start and stop operations required of these equipments. Their use ensures low downtime and manpower costs associated with replacing a belt. Features:

Longer service life and smoother

operation

during frequent and severe shock

loads.

High tensile strength

Quality belt construction ensures :

High resistance to wear and tear

Ensures proper slippage during

declutching

in case of dry cover belts

High resistance to oil, heat and

cracking

Ability to withstand reverse flexing

Product Range :

Pix lawn & garden belts offer solutions for each and every OEM application. Other cross reference belt or belt types are also feasible in the range.

Most demanded construction in lawn and garden application equipment. Wide range of wrapped belts available in both dry cover and non-dry cover construction. Some of the significant features of these belts are:-

Wrapped Belts :

Superior resistance to oil, heat, ozone,

sunlight

and weather

Belt design ensures full contact with

pulley walls

and provides superior strength to

prevent

dishing

Tension member reduces internal stress

on belt

by carrying uniform load throughout the

belt

Excellent performance on clutching and

backside idler drives.

Carrot harvester belts :

These are mounted, one-row belts

with box filling and cleaning unit

For carrot harvesting, single row

mounted bunched carrot harvesters are

used. Two rotating brushes forward the

carrot leaves to the intake belts which

lift those from the ground. A belt

shaker ensures good soil separation.

The open and reliable intake unit is

also known from the leek harvester. It is

especially modified to gather bunched

carrots. Special carrying belts ensure a

perfect positioning of the carrots on the

following cross conveyor. Later, the

carrots are directly stored in boxes.

Variable speed belts :

These offer excellent transverse rigidity and flexibility to prevent bucking at minimum diameter settings where belt stress is more.

Their other features are:

Firm gripping action in contact areas provide positive traction for precise and immediate response

High power transmission than regular range of belts

Longer service life

Facilitates smooth running without

excessive

vibrations

Specific belt design for maximum

longitudinal

flexibility

Double sided belts :

Double sided belts are suitable for many applications including data storage, hand power tools, postage handling, food processors, office machines, centrifuges, money handling, medicine diagnostic, sewing machines, ticket dispensers, robotics, vending machines and vacuum cleaners.

These belts can be neoprene/ fiberglass-reinforced and afford power transmission from either side of the belt. For this reason, they are often used in reversing and serpentine applications.

Double sided timing belts are produced using the same materials as single sided belts, except that the backside is ground from a fiber reinforced special rubber compound. There is no nylon facing on the backside. Power take off on the backside is limited to 50% of the total catalog rating. Total belt rating is the same as for single sided belts.

Heavy duty belts :

As the name suggest, these belts are used in industries where the workload is heavy and the downtime has to be absolutely minimal. They are the best defense against belt failure.

That is why, they are specifically designed for aggressive applications. They have extraordinarily high impact strength, capacity, and wear resistance.
