Hundreds of people accepted Jesus Christ during those crusade nights at Panther Stadium in the year 2000. This week will give us an opportunity to Tell Everyone about God’s saving grace. Overwhelmingly, unchurched people say that they would come if someone invited them. What can you do? First, join our church’s PrayerWalk and Flyer Distribution this Saturday, September 23rd, from 9:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. This is a perfect time for a parent and child or friends to pair up and pass out flyers to the front doors of homes throughout our city. Together this can be done in less than half of a day. But it takes hundreds of us to participate. We have divided the city into 6 zones and 50 captains are ready for you to join their team. So come on! A continental breakfast will begin at 9:00 a.m. and childcare is available through 5 years of age. Second, make sure you and your friends attend the Tell Everyone Crusade this upcoming Sunday, September 24th, at 5:00 p.m. Dr. Fred Luter, the first African American president of the Southern Baptist Convention will be the speaker. He is an anointed preacher of the gospel. His downtown church in New Orleans was devastated during Hurricane Katrina and his congregation was scattered all the way to Houston, TX. In the years following, he preached in Houston and New Orleans and saw the church rebuilt. It is going to be an incredible night of praise.
