Please join us October 8 for an All day workshop and lectures featuring Quilt Experts Beverly Dunivent, Erin Quinn Valcho, and Carol Cook Beverly will focus on unique and creative ways to finish, repair, replicate, and display your quilt, tops, or orphan blocks. She will give practical advice to turn these quilts into something quite wonderful. She will share quilts that provide examples and inspiration. Erin will provide advice on handling, care, storage and display techniques. Carol will discuss her family quilt his- tory and help us develop and properly label history for our own family quilts. Beverly Dunivent is an AQS certified

quilt appraiser, quilt historian and re-

storer who lectures and gives classes &

seminars throughout the country. She

lives in Olympia, Wa. She is an authority

on quilt dating, 1930s quilts, scrap quilts,

string pieced quilts, quilt restoration, and

has written many articles and books.

Erin Quinn Valcho is curator of the

Lacey Museum and has an MA in

Museum Studies. Her specialty is material

preservation. She has 18 years of experi-

ence.

Carol Cook of Olympia is an experienced

quilter with a strong family history of

quilting. She has a wide background in quilt

history, and an extensive knowledge of quilt

fabrics and dating.
