GREAT NEWS & A WONDERFUL WAY TO DOUBLE UP YOUR GIFT

By Jeff Haverhals, KBPA Director

God continues to bless Kingdom Boundaries. The months of October and November

have again been busy months with a full house. Men have been transitioning out while others

are moving in to take their place at the “Carpenter’s Shop”, the housing portion of Kingdom

Boundaries. The list of men who would like to be accepted into the Kingdom Boundaries

program continues to grow. There are many things we consider when deciding who is

accepted and who is not. A big factor in this process is room availability. Will we have an

opening when they are released? The length of time men can stay at the Carpenter’s Shop

depends on how fast they make the transition back into society. Sometimes this process takes

several months.

To alleviate our problem of having a lack of space, God has already been working

behind the scenes. The apartment building next door, which a year ago was not for sale, has

now become available for us to purchase. As of January 6th, Kingdom Boundaries will be

signing papers and purchasing the building. The building is a 6 plex, having five two bedroom

apartments and one single bedroom apartment. The building will be used for men who have

proven themselves at the “Carpenter’s Shop”, and would be given the opportunity to move into

this second building with less accountability.

With this amazing opportunity also comes financial commitments. Kingdom Boundaries

has been blessed with a couple who have put up a $25,000 matching grant to be met by the

end of 2016. (We need your help soon!!) This same couple has put up another $25,000

matching grant to be met after the 1st of the year. A second couple has pledged an additional

$50,000 as a matching grant, also after the 1st of the year. What a tremendous opportunity for

us and our ministry partners!!

The staff, board, and residents of Kingdom Boundaries are all very grateful for your

support of prayers, clothes, food, furniture, and financial support that we have received this past

year. We wouldn’t be here without you or the residents. These men are very special

diamonds in the rough. Our God has given us an opportunity to share the joy of His Christmas

gift to us, His Son, with them. Would you please consider a year end gift to help Kingdom

Boundaries meet these generous grants that have been presented?

(A testimonial by Mark, a KBPA beneficiary)

By the love of our heavenly Father and the

grace of Jesus Christ dying on the cross for

our sins, I am a new man.

I have known Jeff Haverhals for 5 years. I met

Jeff when I was in prison. I attended his Bible

study and he also mentored me one-on-one. Jeff and I have

shared what I call Spirit tears. What that means is that God has

used Jeff and the Holy Spirit to touch the lives of the meek,

broken hearted, and the lost sheep. This is where the Spirit tears

come in to play. When the Holy spirit touched me, that is when

these glorious tears fell from my eyes.

When I was ready to get out of prison, Kingdom Boundaries is

where I wanted to get my new start. The reason why is plain and

simple. It is where I know Christ was going to dwell. The love and

support that the staff and board has given Jeff to give to us is a

great blessing from the Lord.

This is my testimony, that I know that Jesus Christ is my

redeemer and that he dwells in each and every one of us. And

that my personal walk and relationship with God is the most

important thing in my life.

I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Prayer and works are essential to

living a life pleasing to our

Heavenly Father!

James 2:15-17

If a brother or sister is without

clothing and in need of daily food,

and one of you says to them, “Go

in peace, be warmed and be filled,”

and yet you do not give them what

is necessary for their body, what

use is that? Even so faith, if it has

no works, is dead, being by itself.”
