Well done to all these students on their efforts with these tests, we now await the results. Best of luck to Jack Dillon who is in Sydney this week to represent Tullibigeal Central and Western Region at the primary AFL State Championships. I am sure Jack will represent the School and Western Region with respect and resilience. This week sees the annual ASPIRE event for our Year 10 students, who will be attending UNSW for 3 days. I am confident all students will find this time, investigating their future options, valuable. Thank you to Ms Gleeson for accompanying the students to Sydney. This Thursday students in Years 5 and 6 will be heading to Griffith to participate in the Mortimer Shield. Female students will be playing in the league tag competition and the male students will be playing rugby league. I am sure all students will enjoy their time and are reminded to participate with respect and resilience in these competitions. Earlier this year our students entered the CWA Cultural Competitions, which were recently judged at the CWA State Conference in Albury. Tullibigeal students performed exceptionally at judging time taking out 15 of the awards. Well done to all that participated in these competitions. Congratulations to the 7 families; 9 students, who were successful in the "Adopt a Farmer" Writing Competition that was run by the Daily Telegraph over the previous two weeks. These families will each receive an IGA Voucher valued at $700. A big thank you to Mrs Helyar for coordinating this competition. Also to The Daily Telegraph and IGA for their generous support of our farming families. CWA Cultural Competition Winners Jack Dillon Amity Loxley, Harley Henschke & Tayah Glasgow

From the School,

Last week students in Years 3,5,7 and 9 sat the NAPLAN testing.

On Friday 17th May we travelled on the school bus and Miss Bells car to Griffith, for Possum Magic. We stopped at Barellan for recess and we ate under the huge tennis racquet. When we got to Griffith we went to City Park. We all got to go on the flying fox, the humongous spider web and the golden horse. After the park we went to the theatre. When we walked in, there was two men wearing black long jackets and black top hats. They pulled a star from behind Sophia’s shoulder. Indie and Ivy blew the star to make more appear. We walked into the dark theatre and sat down for the show to start, it was exciting. Hush ate lamingtons, pavlova, minties, vegemite sandwiches, steak and salad, pumpkin scones and rock cakes every year for her birthday. At the end of the show there was a disco with a disco ball and we got to have question time. We had a great day!Mrs Tyack, Elsie, Indie, Ginger, Isla, Ivy, Chelsea, Billy, Sophia, Abigail, Jackson, Hunter
