HOMEWARD BOUND, An alternative to Strong Bonds Retreats...
Homeward Bound was started by a U.S. Army General Officer. He had one son killed in action and another son committed suicide. This is a wonderful opportunity to get some of our Soldiers and their families into a program that can help them get some relaxation and tools to deal with the stress in their lives. There are approximately 100 open slots for this weekend. No Soldier will be turned away be-cause of an inability to pay. Simply call the number below for Jor-
danna Mallach, and she will help. In conjunction with Creative
Healing Connections Service Members and their families are in-
vited to an R & R weekend in scenic Lake Placid, NY. Workshops
on The Social Resiliency Model (SRM) and the creative arts will
be provided as well as opportunities for Yoga, hiking, and touring
the local attractions. Friday night will feature a family movie night
and Saturday night child care will be provided to facilitate a “night
out” for service members/veterans and their spouses. High Peaks
resort is providing rooms and meeting space free of charge. This
will fill up fast so do not wait, contact us now to guarantee a won-
derful respite weekend in Lake Placid (Adirondacks), New York.
Cost for participation (per family): E6 and Below $75, E7-E9
