controlled by thermostat and humidistat and one bank heater to be manual. Heaters shall be connected in three banks viz 16+16+12kw capacity across each phase. The surface temperature of the heater shall not exceed 40deg C.

These dampers shall also actuate in response signal receiving from Central smoke system which shall trip the AHU along with closing the damper. Testing of fire dampers shall be as per UL555 and certified by CBRI with test certificate.

return air path. The silencers shall be designed to attenuate noise to meet NC-50 curve. Silencers shall consist of incombustible, inorganic, inert, non-shedding glass fiber as acoustic fill to obtain sufficient density for the above noise reduction

Electrical Panel: 7. Supply, installation, commissioning & testing of 1Lot Electrical panel. The Electrical

works comprising of supply, installation, testing and commissioning of complete power system, supply and control system for the satisfactory operation of the AC plant. The plant shall be completely automatic in operation. The panel shall consist of indoor floor mounted cubicle, dead front type, main MV panel, powder coated with approved shade of paint, dust and vermin proof, fully tropicalized construction with 14SWG CRCA sheet steel with necessary anti-corrosive treatment.

The panel shall be suitable for operation on 500V, 3phase, 4wire, 50Hz, AC supply complete with all interconnections and consisting of main incoming of TPN MCCB of suitable rating with 35kA rms symmetrical breaking capacity with settable type OLR, earth leakage protection, shunt trip release, auxiliary contact block and having door interlocking facility. Instrumentation consisting of Digital Ammeter with inbuilt selector switch and CTs of suitable range and accuracy classI, Digital Voltmeter with inbuilt Selector switch, Digital KWH meter, indication lamps, MCB and controls for each of condensing units,

AHU, strip heaters, fire & smoke control panel. Individual Digital Ammeter with inbuilt selector switch shall be provided to each condensing units, AHU & strip heaters. TPN aluminium bus bar of suitable capacity mounted on non-hygroscopic, glass fibre reinforced insulators.( 800A & above copper bus bar and incomer shall be electrical operated draw out ACB with microprocessor and less than 800A aluminium bus bar with TPN MCCB). Necessary Star/delta and DOL starters with contactors comprising O/L relay, single phase preventors shall be provided for condensing units, AHU motor, strip heater banks, etc and isolation type switch shall be provided near condensing units and AHU motor.

Suitable capacity TPN MCCB/ TPN MCB with settable OLR/ ELCB, auxiliary contact blocks. Suitable power factor improvement capacitors shall be provided for compressor motors, AHU motor, condenser fan motors to improve and maintain a power factor of not less than 0.95 at any time. Capacitors will be located in the main/separate panel. All the capacitors shall be tested as per IS:2834 and shall be complete with necessary discharge and protective devices and interconnections, earthing, cabling etc and complete as required. Common tinned copper earthing strips of suitable size on each side of panel.

Necessary XLPE armoured cabling/ wiring in approved metallic enclosures for all power and control circuits in between all equipment & main panel and control wiring to be FRLS with minimum 2.5sq.mm. All power cabling/control wiring shall be laid in trays. Exposed wiring shall be routed through liquid tight conduits. (Preferably MS conduits) . Necessary earthing work comprising of providing two numbers of GI pipe earth stations and earthing of panels and electrical equipment/motors including interconnection with suitable size of GI strips/wires as per IS 3043 with latest amendments. The length of pipes shall be 3.75 mtr long, 38mm dia GI pipe. The size of the strips or wires shall be decided in consultation with Engineer in charge

The continuous power supply required for the Microprocessor panel of the condensing units shall be arranged by AC vendor by providing suitable capacity UPS with minimum 3hour battery back-up. The panel shall have necessary interface like 24V DC/230V AC relays, air break contactors etc to trip the MCCB, controlling the incoming supply on receiving signal from smoke detection and fire alarm control panel which operates on 24V DC supply. Required number of NO/NC contacts with LED shall be provided for visual (Actuation/Off) indication of this trip signal along with a by-pass key type actuator (lockable in two positions).
