    We are engineers from all over India with an aim to lighten each and every rustic home withlight. With the ever increasing demand for power in cities, the villages are being neglected. Wehave a vision to make rural India go SOLAR. We aim to provide new, innovative and easy to useapplications of solar energy in villages, where facilities for harnessing conventional sources ofelectricity are scarce. Small products like solar home lighting systems, portable mobile phonechargers and solar street lights are part of this initiative.

    free Spirits Green Labs is an initiative to a greener world. Our vision is not only to lightenup homes but also to empower residents with the skills and knowledge to ensure the efficientuse of products, thereby creating employment opportunities. The journey so far has beenguided by the aim to build innovative and cost effective products that preserve theconventional sources of energy. We work under the guidance of honorable Prof. KumarKrishen. He encourages our endeavors and supports our research and pilot studies academicallyas well as financially. Prof. Kumar is a true motivation for free spirits Green Labs to grow as anorganization and serve the society better.

    Nitin Saini holds the position of Managing Director at free Spirits Green Labs and plays a keyrole in research and development of solar powered products and services. He established aglobal delivery model in order to provide these useful applications in rural parts of the country.He is responsible for developing strategies for joint research and technology projects withvarious engineering colleges across India and also for associating with various NGOs and CSRgroups in order to reach the core of rural communities and provide them with applications

    specifically designed to be implemented in their day to day lives. Presently, our team consists ofAnkitaa Bhatia, Anuj Pal, Manish Bhandari, Nishtha Bohra, Parul Murarka and Sindhu Krishna.

    We are currently working on our Solar Education Initiative, in which we conduct solarworkshop drive across various engineering colleges in India. We are also working with NGOs toprovide solar lighting systems and small products in rural areas.
