PRELIMINARY SKIN ALLERGY TEST: To determine whether an allergy or hypersensitivity exists, a

preliminary skin allergy test should be performed. The following test should be made 48 hrs. before

every application.

1) Using soap and water, wash an area about 1in (2.5cm) in diameter on the inside of the elbow or

behind the ear, touching the hairline. Pat area dry with cotton wool.

2) Prepare a test solution by mixing equal parts Fudge Catalyst Peroxide with the exact shade to be

used.

3) Apply mixture to the area using absorbent cotton tipped applicator.

4) Permit area to dry. Do not cover or disturb for 48 hrs.

5) Examine the test area after 48 hrs. If no reaction has occurred, proceed with hair colouring.

6) DO NOT USE hair colour if any of the following danger signs appear: burning, itching, swelling,

eruptions, irritation, redness, rash or abnormal reaction. If these signs appear in or around the test

area, at any time during the test period, it indicates the person is allergic or hypersensitive to the

colour. Remove existing skin allergy test patch colour immediately and cleanse area thoroughly with

soap and water. In addition, this product should not be applied if the scalp shows evidence of cuts,

abrasions, eruption, open wounds or any other abnormal condition.

Headpaint 1:1.5 10 vol- 3% Same depth/Darker/Grey Coverage 30 mins

Headpaint 1:1.5 20 vol – 6% 1 level lighter/Grey Coverage 35 mins

Headpaint 1:1.5 30 vol – 9% 2-3 levels lighter/Grey Coverage 40 mins

Headpaint 1:1.5 40 vol- 12% 3-4 levels lighter/Grey Coverage 45-55 mins

Ultra Light1:2 30 vol – 9% 4 levels lighter Up to 60 mins

Ultra light 1:2 40 vol – 12% 5 levels lighter Up to 60 mins

Demi Colour 1 : 1.5 No Lift Catalyst Deposit Only/ Tone on Tone 20 mins

3. HEADPAINT APPLICATION: Mix (1:1.5) Headpaint or Headpaint Ultra Light 1:2) add Headpaint

Colour into a bowl and add Fudge Catalyst Crème Developer, mix thoroughly with brush until

smooth.

FIRST TIME APPLICATION: Apply the Fudge Headpaint colour mix approx. 1-2 cms from the scalp,

starting with the most resistant area. Develop for 20 mins. Then apply fresh colour mix to the root

area. Develop for 30 mins.

RE-TOUCH APPLICATION: Apply Fudge Headpaint Colour mix to regrowth area only. Develop for 30

mins. Apply colour mix or Demi colour mix through mid-lengths and ends if required. Develop for 10

mins.

FIRST TIME APPLICATION FOR ULTRA LIGHT BLONDE: Apply Ultra Light Blonde Mix approx. 1-2 cms

from the scalp. Develop 30 mins. Then apply fresh colour mix to the root area. Develop for up to 60

mins.

RE-TOUCH APPLICATION FOR ULTRA LIGHT BLONDE: Apply Ultra Light Blonde colour mix to

regrowth area only. Develop for up to 60 mins. Refresh if required.

COLOUR REMOVAL: At the basin apply a small amount of lukewarm water and gently massage the

scalp, emulsify and rinse, particularly around hairline and the nape of the neck. Ensure colour is

completely removed from the scalp area. Apply Fudge Colour Lock shampoo to remove any colour

residue. Rinse and apply Fudge Colour Lock Conditioner. Apply 1 Shot Treatment. Style and dry as

desired.

3. HEADPAINT SHADOWS APPLICATION: Mix Headpaint Shadows colour into a bowl and add Fudge

catalyst. Mix thoroughly with a brush until smooth. Apply to dry unwashed hair utilising the desired

foiling method. Avoid contact with the scalp.

4. COLOUR REMOVAL: At the basin gently rinse excess colour residue. Rinse and apply Fudge Colour

Lock conditioner. Apply 1 Shot Treatment. Dry and Style as desired.
