Am member of the Peruvian engineer's Association; and Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer by any provincial or territorial association; as well as a Canadian, Mexican & Peruvian Permanent Resident. I have been working in the mining & metallurgical field since 1998 in Peru, Guatemala, Canada and Mexico in engineering, planning, estimating, scheduling, production, metallurgy, safety, technical services, and managing, as well as an underground frontline miner and artisanal miner in polymetallic and Auriferous mines

My experience is related to open pit, metallurgy and underground mechanized, conventional & artisanal mines with different kind of mine methods as for example: long-hole, longwall, cut & fill, room & pillar, Shrinkage, Avoca, and my responsibilities included all aspects of management, scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility of the projects, ,mine rehabilitation & dewatering, engineering, as well as production & blast design, long & medium term planning, cost & resources optimization, mine safety, ventilation, paste fill & ground support, environmental compliance and the verification of quality standards and procedures.

I have also had formal training in the use of mining related software products including Vulcan, Surpac, Minesight, Promine, Hard Dollar & Primavera, Ms Project, Ventsim, and Auto-Cad, as well as other software products typically found in a modern business environment.　

I am also qualified in the operation of all major equipment found in underground mining sites including haggloader, Scoop, Dumper truck, Jumbo, Anfo-loader, Front Loaders as well as Stope Mate and Alimak - Rise Climber. I am fluent in languages, Spanish, English, French, and some Italian & Portuguese, and am comfortable working in a multicultural and multilingual business environment. I have specific interests in the fields of work safety, hygiene and environmental issues.

Working as a technical service manager at Simsa mine; being in charge and involved with the mine planning for medium and long term plan and budget of the mine, scheduling, estimating, ventilation, ground support, mine rehabilitation and dewatering, paste fill and mine railway system; having forty five people among engineers, technicians and workers under my supervision.

2014 Jun – 2016 Jun Project Engineer Consultant – Hydroelectric Construction CIA. Minera Subterránea S.A.C. – San Ramón, Junín - Perú

Being a consultant in charge and involved with the short & medium term plan of the hydroelectric project, study, analysis, evaluation, scheduling, estimating, control and budgeting of the cost involved in explosives magazines, construction and/or development of ramps, drifts, raises, shafts, dewatering, underground & surface support, portals, and tunnel excavation; using the software Auto-Cad, Ms Project, and having fifty people among engineers, technician and workers under my supervision.

Mining Company - Palpa, Ica - Peru Working as an underground – Driller for ROX Mining Company, a conventional underground narrow gold mine with operation in Ica – PeruI’ve being working in the day by day conventional development of drifts, cross cuts, ramps and exploration drifts, etc. My responsibilities included drilling using jackleg drills and blasting, as well as the installation of underground support, timber and shotcrete support.

1997 – 2000 Underground Artisanal Miner – Driller Working as an underground Artisanal miner by my own in an artisanal underground narrow vein gold mine with operation in Saramarca, Ica – PeruI’ve being working in the day by day Artisanal mine development of drifts, cross cuts, raises, shaft, etc.
