Interactive Virtual Field TripsThe Virtual Field Trip (VFT) offers an opportunity for your class to participate in a close-up, two-way videoconference with an expert, a museum, or a vendor to learn and explore in a new and unique way.

You dont have to leave school, no gas or lunch money! Sometimes it is just a regular teacher that has become the HAL instructor. Kids (families) dont get to go places like they once did.

Field trips provide students with a window to the real world that they don't get in the classroom, and they can help students understand real-world applications of seemingly abstract topics in math and science. For example, engineers may often use formulas taught in Algebra II, calculus, and chemistry classes.
