While applying to the Master's degree programme in International Business (IB),

Finance and Economics (FE) and/or Financial and Management Accounting (FMA) at

the University of Oulu, you have let us know about your interest in receiving

information and material related to study opportunities at our university. Thus, as a

coordinator of the Oulu Business School MBA programme, I take the pleasure to send

you this info letter about our full-time MBA programme - A special opportunity for

Oulu Business School is part of the University of Oulu, the second largest

Oulu Business School MBA is a 1-year, full-time study programme in business

administration offered completely in English. The total cost of the programme is EUR

16 400.

The next Full-time MBA programme starts in autumn 2011, so be quick and apply

now! For an applicant who is already familiar with the IB/FE/FMA application

process, applying to the MBA programme is fairly simple:

As long as you have sent a complete IB/FE/FMA application with the following

enclosures

- Certificate of your English language proficiency

- Certified copies of your Bachelor's (and/or higher level degree) diploma and

transcript of study records (+ grading scale if available)

- Passport size photo

- Photocopy of your passport information page

- Only in case of conditional admission: Statement (free form) about the graduation

date and degree certificate from the issuing university

there is no need to submit all these documents again. What you need to do is:

information & our MBA application form

2) Fill in, print, sign and send us the application form to the address below. In order to

start the studies in September, please send your application by 6th of June, 2011.

Scholarships:

We do not have a scholarship programme as of now but we are in the process of

finalizing it and making it public. It will be based on students prior study

performance and the grades have to be well above average in order to be awarded a

scholarship. Additionally, students study performance during MBA programme will

be automatically assessed for scholarships after first half year of studies. The

scholarships will cover maximum 75 % of the tuition fee.

Please note, that all applicants are considered automatically for these scholarships if

well above average performance is shown in previous Bachelors or Masters level

degrees or outstanding performance is shown during MBA studies. Average or just

above average performance will not fulfill criteria for a scholarship.

Applicants are informed about receiving scholarships based on previous study

performance in Oulu Business School MBA Programme admission package.

Important notices:

* Please, note that MBA application process is independent and separate from the

Master's degree (FE, FMA and IB) application process.

Therefore, it is not possible to apply to the MBA programme with the same

application that you used for applying to the Master's degree programmes (FE, FMA

and/or IB).

* Note also, that this e-mail is an info letter that should NOT be interpreted as an

acceptance or rejection letter for the Master's degree programmes (FE, FMA and/or

IB), regarding which the student selection decisions will be made within the next

couple of weeks.
