Fulbright-Nehru Master's Fellowships for Leadership Development: For outstanding individuals who demonstrate leadership qualities; have completed the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor's degree; and have at least three years of professional or work experience; to pursue a master's degree program at select U.S. colleges and universities in the areas of Arts and Culture Management including Heritage Conservation and Museum Studies; Communication Studies; Conflict Resolution; Economics; Environment; Public Administration; Urban and Regional Planning; and Women's Studies. Application deadline: July 16, 2012. Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral and P rofessional Research Fellowships: These pre-doctoral level research fellowships, for a maximum period of nine months, are designed for scholars who are registered for a Ph.D. at an Indian institution and also for professionals with significant work experience and accomplishments. Application deadline: July 16, 2012. Fulbright-Nehru Postdoctoral Research Fellowships: These fellowships, for a maximum period of 12 months, are designed for Indian scholars and professionals who have a Ph.D. degree from an Indian institution within the past four years. Application deadline: July 16, 2012. Fulbright-Nehru Senior Research Fellowships: For faculty, researchers and professionals from all disciplines who have a Ph.D. or equivalent published work. These fellowships, for a duration of up to eight months, aim to provide opportunity to do research on contemporary issues and concerns to contribute to the creation of knowledge. Application deadline: July 16, 2012. Fulbright-Nehru Visiting Lecturer Fellowships: For faculty, researchers and profession als from all disciplines who have a Ph.D. or equivalent published work. These fellowships for a duration of upto four months, contribute to internationalization of the curriculum at the U.S. host institutions and understanding of recent developments in India. Application deadline: July 16, 2012. Fulbright-Nehru Environmental Leadership Program: For mid-level Indian environment professionals in public/private sector or non-governmental organizations for up to four months in the fields of Environmental Information/Systems Reporting; Environmental Education; Environmental Policy, Regulations and Law; Environmental Sciences and T oxicology; and Environmental Management. Application deadline: July 16, 2012. Fulbright-Nehru International Education Administrators Seminar: For mid- to senior-level Indian college and university administrators with at least two years of experience in international program development and management at their institutions. This two week seminar will enable participants to learn about various facets of U.S. higher education, including the types of institutions, accreditation, curriculum development, fund raising, student services and international education on U.S. campuses, as well as share knowledge on Indian higher education. Application deadline: July 16, 2012. Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowships: For mid-level policy planners and administrators in the government, public and private sectors, and NGOs for professional development in the fields of Agricultural and Rural Development; Communications/Journalism; Economic Development; Educational Administration, Planning and Policy; Finance and Banking; Higher Education Administration; HIV/AIDS Policy and Prevention; Human Resource Management; Law and Human Rights; Natural Resources, Environmental Policy, and Climate Change; Public Health Policy and Management; Public Policy Analysis and Public Administration; Substance Abuse Education, Treatment and Prevention; Teaching of English as a Foreign Language (Teacher Training or Curriculum Development); Technology Policy and Management; Trafficking in Persons, Policy and Prevention; Urban and Regional Planning. Fulbright Teacher Exchange Program: For Indian school teachers (6th to 12th grades) of English, Mathematics, or Science to participate in direct exchange of positions with U.S. teachers for a semester. Application deadline: September 14, 2012. Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant Program (FLTA): For scholars between 21 and 29 years of age with a Master's degree in English. Selected Fulbright FLT A participants from India will teach Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi or Urdu at select U.S. campuses during their nine-month non-degree grants.
