INTRODUCTION FOR MORE THAN 25 YEARS TENNISCOMP ACADEMY HAS BEEN A PIONEER IN THE TRAINING OF PLAYERS IN THE VALENCIAN COMMUNITY, MORE

SPECIFICALLY IN ALICANTE, BEING ONE OF THE MOST REPRESENTATIVE ACADEMIES AS A COMPETITION SCHOOL.

BASED IN ALICANTE, IN THE STUNNING FACILITIES OF ONE OF THE BEST CLUBS IN SPAIN SUCH AS THE MONTEMAR ATHLETIC CLUB, WE HAVE TRAINED PROFESSIONAL PLAYERS SUCH AS RUBÉN RAMÍREZ NUMBER 49 ATP, IVAN NAVARRO 67 ATP, AND PAULA GARCÍA 150 WTA AMONG OTHERS,

TRAINING THEM FROM 8 YEARS UNTIL HIS PROFESSIONAL STAGE.

FOR THIS REASON WE NOT ONLY CONSIDER OURSELVES AS AN HP ACADEMY, WE ARE AN ALL AGE ALL LEVELS TENNIS ACADEMY, FROM BEGINNERS TO PROFESSIONAL LEVEL.

LÓPEZ JAÉN 160 ATP, WHICH BEGAN THEIR TRAININGS WITH TENNISCOMP ACADEMY BEYOND THE 500 ATP RANKING.

SEVERAL OTHER PRO PLAYERS HAVE USED OUR FACILITIES AND TRAINING SERVICES LIKE GUILLERMO GARCÍA-LOPEZ, ROBERTO BAUTISTA, DANIEL GIMENO TRAVER, JACOBO DIAZ, ETC. ALL OF THEM TOP 100 PLAYERS.

WE HAVE HAD ALSO SEVERAL SPANISH CHAMPIONS IN LOWER CATEGORIES SUCH AS ALBERT ALCARAZ, CYNTHIA PÉREZ DOMENECH, ROSA MARÍA PEREZ

DOMENECH, DANIEL MÉRIDA, PAVEL PETROV, IKER SEVILLA, PAULA GARCÍA, ETC. ALL OF THEM ARE SPANISH CHAMPIONS IN THESE CATEGORIES.

ALL THIS HAPPENED THANKS TO A PROFESSIONAL ATMOSPHERE WITH OUR PLAYERS, TRAINING WITH FORMER PROFESSIONAL PLAYER IVAN NAVARRO, FORMER PRO TOUR COACHES AS ISRAEL SEVILLA AND MANOLO SANDOVAL AND OUR PRO HEAD COACHES IVAN ESQUERDO, JOSE GIMENO, PABLO

NAVARRO AND ERIK KARZAYAN.

CLUB FACILITIES

• 21 tennis courts (17 courts of clay and 4 of synthetic resin ) • 2 football fields-7 artificial turf ( 1 football field-11 ) • 10 Paddel courts. • 1 cardiovascular gym-body building with an area of 600 m2. • New two-story building with 5 collective activity rooms and a small changing room.The rooms have a surface that oscillates between 90 and 130 m2 • 1 Olympic pool 50 meters long x 21 wide, and a second splash pool. • 1 pediment with a polyvalent surface for the practice of tennis wall, skating, basketball and so on • Physiotherapy cabinet and personal training services. • Play center for children from 3 to 7 years old. • Classrooms • 3 changing rooms : main building, pool and soccer field. • 1 TV and reading room • Board Games Room • Cafeteria and restaurant • Sports shop • 1 playground • Private parking with capacity for 220 cars

PRO SHOP Within the facilities of the Montemar Athletic Club, there is the Padel Tennis Power store where you can find any equipment that a tennis player might need such as strings, tennis clothes, rackets, sneakers, even the stringing service is provided. Operate hours : Monday thru Saturday at 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

TRANSPORT The Tennis Academy has three vans in order to take the kids to the tournaments,, the last one is a Mercedes Vito bought 2 years ago, this one is usually used for longer trips.

• REGULAR STAGE : • 10 hours per week technical

tennis trainings sessions. • 5 hours group fitness sessions. • 5 hours theory group sessions

(understanding of the game-strategy)

• 4 hours weekly tournament ranking.

• Accompaniment to tournaments within the Alicante province.

• Extra activity every Saturday ( doubles tournament, Davis Cup tournament, soccer… )

• FULL TIME STAGE : • • 10 hours per week technical

sessions with a ratio 4:1. • 5 hours theory group sessions. • 10 hours afternoon tennis

practices with tennis directors or 1-1 sparring session.

• Optional in Housing services. Housing will be 5 minutes away by car from the club or for MRT stations.

• CLUB ATLÉTICO MONTEMAR has a MRT stop at the main entrance which is very convenient.

• Many hotels rooms take less than 2 km from the club.

• Meals will be provided at the restaurant’s club.

ACCOMPANIMENT TO

TOURNAMENTS

• Tenniscomp has already scheduled tennis tournaments around Alicante that will take place specifically during the tennis stage. The venues are less than 40km away from the tennis Academy.

• Transport and technical assistance are provided in all the competitions scheduled.

• Travel and coaching expenses are already included in the price when competing in the province of Alicante. Hospitality outside of Alicante’s province is not included

• Matches usually start at 1pm onwards.

• Accompaniment to prestigious tournaments as the TTK circuit, ITF, Rafa Nadal, Marca etc…

HOW A MATCH DAY WOULD LOOK LIKE

• Early in the morning we’ll have a meeting with the players letting them know the schedule’s day. Depending on that we’ll adjust the practice schedule starting earlier or later the tennis sessions.

• Coaches will adjust the student’s tennis practice depending on the match schedule and his opponent.

• Coaches will update the order of play the day before the match using a whatsapp chat group.In case the info is not available in advance, we will update it as soon as possible on the chat the same day of the match.

• It would be helpful for a better organization on our daily basis knowing in advance if a player attends a tournament with his parents or will use the Academy transport.

• We will set up a whatsapp group chat with player parents in case they want to ask whichever info they need with the coach that will be at the tournament.

• A student must not leave the tournament on his own once his match is over without informing the coach before.

• Whatsapp group chat will be used by the Tennis Academy only for sharing relevant information.

• Each student is asked to bring some cash for meals or registration fees on their daily basis. • Coaches will stay until the very last match scheduled. If a player has already finished, he can

choose either coming back home accompanied by his parents or coming back home accompanied by a friend’s relative. • Coaches will stay until the very last match of the day as long as there’s not a change in the

order of play or a special request from a player or from a parent.

EQUIPMENT

NEEDED

• Rackets • Padel racket ( if owns one ) • Strings and grips replacement. • Elastic bands and jump ropes • Tennis clothing, tennis shoes, swimsuit, a towel and extra clothes. • Energy drink. • Mobile number in case a student plays away during a tournament. • Snack ( 2 fruit pieces, a sandwich, nuts, etc. ) • A cap and sunscreen. • Some cash for registration fees and meals.

FITNESS PROGRAM

• Injury prevention and body compensation at the gym and at the pool. • Alternative sports ( padel tennis, basketball, soccer, swimming, etc ) • Learning about injury prevention routines and cool down.Specific training

on basic skills. • Coaching how to perform and improve some exercises and technique movements like Strength, Speed, agility, Coordination and flexibility.
