Golfing in Rochester• If you want to play world-class public courses for an

incredibly cheap price, Rochester is the place.

• For instance, I played Durand Eastman Golf Course (Donald Ross original design, Robert Trent Jones re-design) for $8 with pull cart.

– Most courses designed by these guys run about $150 for 9 holes (or are private courses).

• 85 public courses in the Rochester area, and most are fantastic

• Range in price from $8-50 for 9 holes, with most courses falling in the $15-30 range.

• My favorite 6 courses:• Mill Creek ($25-32) – West of Chili• Lima Country Club ($23) - Lima• Ravenwood ($20-30) - Victor• Durand Eastman ($8-12) –
