WELCOME

Look no further than Norths Devils Leagues Club for your upcoming function. Norths Devils offers a range of flexible packages that can be tailored to suit functions and events of all styles and sizes. We pride ourselves on providing professional service and premium catering while remaining competitively priced.

Just some of the events we cater for are birthday parties including 18th and 21st, engagement parties, product launches, conferences, celebration of life (wakes), breakfast meetings, weddings and Christmas parties.

Our modern venue has three versatile function spaces that can be set, themed and catered for to suit any style of event. Our dedicated Functions team are with you every step of the way to ensure your event runs smoothly and that a memorable time is had by you and your guests.

ROOMS

Function Room Our premier function space is ideal for both business and social occasions. The function room is suitable for dining events of up to 170 seated guests, however, this space can be transformed with an operable wall to suit smaller intimate events. The room is fitted with private amenities, WIFI, a 135 inch data projector screen and surround sound making it an ideal space for parties and celebrations, weddings, team presentations and community events.

Beer GardenThe Beer Garden is a private area at the back of the Club that overlooks the green soccer fields. This space is ideal for cocktail parties up to 100 people and sit-down dinners up to 60 people. The area is undercover with removable weather curtains, a TV and flexible furnishings including lounges, tables and high bars.

Conference RoomThe Meeting Room is ideal for corporate and team meetings for groups up to 10 people. The room is completely private and is equipped with WIFI, a TV and whiteboard.

Our community venue offers three versatile rooms suitable for intimate groups

or events for up to 170 seated guests.

Our Functions team take the stress out of event

If a beverage package is selected it must be purchased for all adults present based on your confirmed numbers. As per Queensland law the above beverage packages are only available for adults (18 years and over). Responsible Service of Alcohol guidelines apply. A soft drink package will be provided for all guests under 18 years for $15.00 pp.

Drinks On Consumption Beverages may be charged on consumption (tab) with a limit nominated by you or paid for by the individual (cash bar). Please advise your preferred method prior to the event.

Terms and Conditions

Tentative BookingsTentative bookings are held for two (2) weeks from your enquiry date. In that time a deposit of $100.00 and a signed copy of the Venue Hire Agreement is required to confirm and hold the booking. If both the deposit and the signed copy of the Venue Hire Agreement are not received within two (2) weeks of the enquiry date the booking will be cancelled in consultation with you.

Refund and CancellationsPostponement or cancellation of event must be received via written letter or email. A full refund is available if the room can be resold for said date. Three (3) months written notice of cancellation is required for full refund of deposit. If the function is cancelled seven (7) days or less prior to being held, the deposit will not be refunded and a charge will apply representing 50% of the estimated total revenue.

PaymentFinal confirmation of numbers and full payment is due 10 days prior to the function date. Event charges will be based on the final guest numbers provided. Amendments after this date will be up to the discretion of management.

SurchargesA surcharge of $5.00 per person will be applied for functions that possess less than the minimum number of guests required. Minimum numbers required for a buffet is 20 adult guests.

Public Holidays and Sundays attract a 15% surcharge to room hire, menu and beverage package costs.

Additional costs such as security, linen, decorations and furniture may apply to your function and will be advised prior to confirmation of booking.

CateringAll catering is to be supplied by Norths Devils Leagues Club and to remain within the boundaries of our Brisbane City Council approved Food Safety Accreditation. Celebration and specialty cakes are exempt from this condition.

All dietary requirement information must be given to the Functions Coordinator when confirmation of final numbers is made.

Food or beverages are not to be removed from the premises under our Food Safety Accreditation. Bottle Shop sales are exempt from this condition. Quality of presented meals, buffets and/or cocktail packages cannot be guaranteed if agreed times are not adhered too.

Cake PolicyIf bringing a celebration cake please inform the Functions Coordinator beforehand. The cake must come from a registered business (cannot be homemade). On the day of your event when the cake is collected it must be delivered straight to Norths Devils League Club where upon arrival it will be refrigerated until required. Charges apply if our venue is to cut cake and platter or serve as dessert.

BarA beverage account to the amount of your choice may be set up to cover your chosen beverages. All beverages must be supplied by Norths Devils Leagues Club. Please note the service or supplying of alcohol to minors is not permitted and carries large fines for those guests caught doing so. All guests under 18-years-old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the entirety of the function. Norths Devils Leagues Club management reserve the right to refuse service to underage or intoxicated persons. Norths Devils Leagues Club abides by its house policy on Responsible Service of Alcohol which can be made available upon request.

ChildrenChildren under three-years-old are allowed to attend functions at no cost. Children aged three to 12-year-old will be charged at 50% of the full adult price for a buffet function. Children 12-years-old and above will be charged at full price.Children must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian. Children are not allowed to leave the function room unattended.

PricingEvery endeavour is made to maintain prices as originally quoted to you. However, due to seasonal changes and unforeseen supplier increases, menu items may be required to adjust accordingly, which will be communicated with you immediately in writing.

GSTAll prices quoted are inclusive of the Goods and Services Tax.

LinenA linen surcharge will apply to functions that require the addition.

Decorations and EntertainmentNorths Devils Leagues Club can provide a range of decorations and/or entertainment upon request with the cost added to your bill. Clients are welcome to provide their own decorations and/or entertainment, however, such additions must be discussed with and approved by the Functions Coordinator prior to the event. Items such as a smoke machine are not to be used without approval. Should emergency services be required due to negligence of the function organiser all related costs will be passed on to you.Fire Exits are to be kept clear at all times and are not to be obstructed for any reason. Obstructions of Fire Exits can accrue fines and in the event, these will be passed on to the function organisers. Workplace Health and Safety standards and requirements must be adhered to at all times before, during and after the event.

Dress RegulationsDress regulations apply, however, should a fancy-dress event be requested via the Functions Coordinator, we will work with the functions organiser to achieve this.

SmokingNorths Devils Leagues Club is a non-smoking venue. Outdoor smoking areas have been allocated for the comfort of our members and guests. Smoking is not permitted within five metres of entrances to the venue.

ContentIf Norths Devils Leagues Club has reason to believe that any event/function will affect the smooth running of the Club, its security or reputation, the management reserves the right to cancel at its discretion without notice or liability. The Club reserves the right to control the quality and volume of all entertainment.

Damages and BondFor some functions a bond may be required at the discretion of the Functions Coordinator. Any damage will be assessed and the cost of repair deducted from the bond. A bond of $500 is required for 18th or 21st birthday functions. Other conditions may apply. Please ask the Function Coordinator for details. Organisers are financially responsible for any damage sustained to the Club by the organiser, organisers guests, invitees or other persons attending the function. Our Functions team will take all necessary care in organising and storing of events property but does not take responsibility for damage or loss of client’s property before, during and after event.

SignageNothing is to be nailed, screwed, stapled or attached to any wall, door or surface or part of the building without management permission.

Management DecisionNorths Devils Leagues Club management decisions are to be adhered to at all times and are final.

TIMELINE

One Month from FunctionApproximately one (1) month prior to the proposed date, the functions team will need to confirm menus including dietary requirements and bar requirements. At this meeting any additional requirements you have other than that offered by Norths Devils Leagues Club can be discussed as we will be happy to assist you if possible.

Two Weeks from FunctionGuest numbers are required to be advised for catering and room set purposes.

One Week from FunctionGuest numbers are required to be confirmed. The full amount of the estimated bar account, when applicable, is required. Unused bar account will be refunded to the function organiser within seven days of the function.
