Covering dance, theatre, music and anything in-between, through this scheme we hope to identify the next generation of performing arts talent, whether they are directors, choreographers, composers, playwrights, dancers, actors, musicians, producers or any other creative working in the sector. The PAF Fellowship scheme aims to support individuals through the early stages of their performing arts career; helping them to establish themselves in the professional world through bespoke placements within existing organisations. The PAF Fellowship will lead to an exciting new creative network in the performing arts sector, supported, developed and ready to launch their professional careers.

Organisations should be willing to offer an amazing opportunity to the Fellow – tailored to the individual Fellow and giving them the benefit and support of all aspects of the organisation from mentoring, performance opportunities, and training to access to equipment, space and audiences. LAUNCH EVENT – Community Change – Snapshot of the Sector Community Change are hosting an official launch for their recently published ‘Snapshot of the Sector’ report at Belfast’s MAC on 21 May 2014 from 2-4pm. Based on the finding of research conducted by Community Change with its member organisations and the wider community and voluntary sector in Northern Ireland the report offers an up to date "snapshot of the sector" with regard to the most pressing needs impacting on organisations currently. With organisations under pressure to deliver their services in a more challenging and under resourced environment, this survey was designed to assess if there was a need for support for organisations regarding their own facilitation and training needs. It had been Community Change's experience that organisations were so busy delivering an ever increasing demand for their own services that they weren't getting

time to address and invest in their own organisational and strategic challenges much to their own detriment. This "snapshot of the sector" reinforces and supports the experiences of many in the sector, illustrating the increasing needs of groups not being addressed and highlighting how organisations being increasingly strained by the constant need to address sustainability issues to the detriment of the core organisational and strategic challenges faced by groups. If you would like to attend please contact Ciaran Rice at Community Change on 028 9023 2587 or email [email protected] ___________________________________________________________________ Don’t forget the Community Change Money Mondays Service - Money Mondays - a new FREE service is being piloted where a group can book a 1 hour funding support session with James Laverty (Community Change - Facilitation, Training and Development Officer). James will identify funding opportunities for your group and provide guidance on applying to funders.
