Culture Wild. Spicy. Bold. SS’13 handbags are taking on the tribal trend through a strong use of intense colors, geometric pat-terns, wooden and leather detail, as well as embroidery and beading.

NEUTRALaccents update this ethnic theme and give a fresh and modernized feel to SS13. Colours taken from nature such as ivory, mocha brown, and gun metal gray are further complemented by gold shimmer to add a glamourized tone.

The cultural theme of SS’13 is mirrored by exotic skins such

as python and crocodile, blended together in various

colors as opposed to traditionally all one tone.

Interesting surface manipulations like fabric

weaving, braided seams, and embossed leather further

enhance the ethnic vibe of the season.

A popular detail seen for SS’13 is the use of fringe. This can be seen on tassles, in seams, and

on closures. Patterns and geometric shapes will play a big

role in SS’13 as well and are being created in various ways

such as fabric printing, beading and embellishments, and even

more fabric manipulations.
