THE RIGHT COMPANY

No one likes malfunctioning valves. Getting replacements (in some cases, even parts) can take months. Faulty valves lead to ineffi cient plant operations, potential downtime, and in the worst cases, pose a safety risk.

So what makes us the right company to tackle the full scope of your valve work? Our experience, depth, and expertise. We are the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for all Wilson-Snyder Coker Switch Valves and have more VR certifications for the testing of safety relief valves than any other company in the world. We can repair any type of valve — at your facility or ours. Staffed worldwide with a deep pool of factory trained technicians, we have authorizations, certifications, and channel partnerships with valve manufacturers globally, and — our spare parts inventory is second to none.

We are a single source for repair, testing, parts, and new valves. Plus, the work we do is backed by our long-standing warranty program. All of which is what makes us the right company — and all of which is why you can sometimes hear our name actually being used as a verb, as in: “Relax. It’s been Furmanited.”

ALL SIZES, TYPES, AND MAKES

Furmanite can handle repair or reconditioning for almost any size, type and make of valve:

CONTROL VALVE DIAGNOSTICS

Control valves operating at maximum effi ciency are crucial to ensure the proper movement of plant processes. Along with our expertise in control valve repair, Furmanite can also provide complete valve operation analysis, diagnostics, and calibrations through a comprehensive testing system that provides a complete overview of control valve performance.

Typical test series include calibration of valve and I/P, dynamic error, travel and pressures, total seat load, spring rate and bench tests. All with a system that can communicate with, and test Analog, HARTTM, and FOUNDATION FIELDBUSTM.

FURMA-EEZ

Furmanite’s Valve Freeing tool or “Furma-eez” has been developed from customer

demand to meet the specifi c problem of seized valves. The service is provided 24/7 by our fi eld technicians to free valves that are seized in line, eliminating the process for unscheduled down time and valve repair saving the customer time and money.

PROTECT YOUR ASSETS

WILSON SNYDER SWITCH VALVES

Furmanite, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for Wilson-Snyder has been manufacturing dependable switch valves for “Coker” applications since the early 1930’s. Coker service is one of the most brutal services that any valve can be installed in and the Wilson-Snyder switch valve has been exceeding our customer’s expectations for the last

70 plus years. Wilson Snyder switch valves are available in sizes ranging from 4" through 14" and can be manufactured up to 18” upon request. The valves are designed in accordance with ANSI B 16.5, B 16.20, B 31.3, and are available in 300, 600, and 900 classes. Wilson Snyder valves can also be manufactured in “Non- ANSI” for special approved applications in class 300, 600, and 900 ratings.

VALVEONE

It’s often said that information is king. To create preventative maintenance procedures and accurate budget projections requires a detailed and complete repair history as well as the metrics and the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that can be derived from it. For that reason we have developed our own Valve Asset Management Program to document every repair we conduct. Furmanite’s ValveOne system doesn’t cost extra, and the information in the system belongs to you — it’s simply an added benefi t we provide.

ValveOne is an interactive, web-based, and completely customizable database that allows customers to view the status of every one of their valves, both in service and out. All in real-time — providing instant answers and instant access — to repair histories, or notifi cations of impending statutory repairs. In short, we eliminate the guesswork.

TREVITEST®

Testing on-line and in-service — Furmanite’s patented Trevitest® is code-accepted as a lift-assist device for in-service testing of safety and pressure relief valves, one-inch and greater in size. With the capability to test remotely for safety and without operational interruptions, Trevitest will keep you operational while maintaining your regulatory compliance.

It was the fi rst, and still the best. No other system is fi eld-calibrated prior to use, and again after data-acquisition, providing you the confi dence you need when it comes to safety-critical valves. And after proving itself for more than 30 years, no other system has its track record.

1 Trevitest® has a proven track record that goes back nearly four decades. 2 ValveOne allows customers to view current status on every one of their valves in real time.
