Background / Considerations *Keep puzzle piece as Jakes logo as it links directly to the work his been doing and use it as a visual indicator across the branded range. Jakes Audience is on a freelance basis and his brand and collateral need to be consistent with a freelance designers needs. Research area’s: Wood as a raw material, grains, contours. Print processes laser cut, screen print, embossing and how I can link these two together. Business Cards: Focus on Wood as a material and apply to business cards through; photography / embossing / laser cut. Keep final outcome practical and realistic to the amount of business cards needed. Look book: Professional yet affordable standard digital full colour range prints, number of copies depending on budget which can be later discussed at a later date. Website: Cargo based platform allows for easy and practical presentation of work which Jake can edit and alter easily after completion of brief. As an extension propose industry standard web design for portfolio. Photography: Discussed at a later date depending on the initial collateral’s completion Fonts / Colour Range: Clear legible fonts that emphasise a form of traditional yet easily applied across a wide range of products. Colour range should match Jakes practise and emphasise wood as a Raw material.
