DO YOU KNOW THE FUTURE INNOVATION?

AKÉ CANTO ALMA CRISTINA, GARCÍA RAMÍREZ JENNIFER ANDREA, HERNÁNDEZ TINOCO DANIEL, LORIA SOLANO DANIELA REGINA,

ZOZAYA DÍAZ SAMUEL BERNARDINO.

Tooth regeneration

Colorful fish found in Africa may hold the secret to growing lost teeth.

Georgia institute of technology and Kings collage London. Identifies the genes responsible for growing new teeth and may

lead to the secret to “tooth regeneration” in humans.

Dentures and dental implants may soon become a thing of the past.

See veins under the skin in real time

Hate needles? No more! This LIGHT will make giving blood easier Device helps nurses The most skilled nurses and doctors can struggle to locate the

vein first time.

Page 5: Future inovation

Christie VeinViewer

Detects veins and then projects the image of them in real-time on top of the arm to help the medical worker know where to put the needle.

‘hopefully saving you from the unnecessary pain of multiple needle stings,’ said the Memphis based company.

Artificial Prosthesis

Page 7: Future inovation

What is a Prosthesis?A prosthesis is an

artificial limb, or limb "replacement" though

natural limbs are irreplaceable.

Page 8: Future inovation

Prosthesis who can recreate millimetre per millimetre any movement of the

natural limbs.

Page 9: Future inovation

The challenges lie with creating an interface

that is directly compatible with our own

nervous system and making the connection.

Cholesterol Removing Machine

Page 12: Future inovation

What is it? This is a system who uses a

vacuum extraction to remove blood clots from the

inside arterioles.

Page 13: Future inovation

After the removal of the plaques, the

machine is removed, so the blood can flow

again.

Robotic Nurse Assistant

Page 15: Future inovation

Nurses are under increasing pressure

Page 16: Future inovation

Hstar offers a humanoid robotic assistant that will

help nurses improve patient surveillance and

care.

Page 17: Future inovation

RoNA SerBot presents a cost-effective means to fill the care gap, taking on

and streamlining basic, time-consuming monitoring and delivery

tasks.

In this moment they only help

with the movement of our

patients.

Lightbulbs that disinfect and kill bacteria

Page 20: Future inovation

That has developed an amazing technology using visible light that continuously disinfect the environment and

bolsters your current infection prevention efforts.

Page 21: Future inovation

The light creates a chemical reaction inside the cell preventing it from re-

populating the space.

Artificial Retina

Page 23: Future inovation

This device can restore the sight if people who lost their vision due to a retinal degenerative diseases.

Page 24: Future inovation

It works by replacing the functionality of the damaged photoreceptor cells and creating the electrical simulation required to activate the remaining healthy retinal cells.

Imagine tooth-embedded sensors

Page 26: Future inovation

Researchers at National Taiwan University have created a tooth-

embedded sensor that will catch you in

an unhealthy act!

Page 27: Future inovation

The sensor consists of a tiny circuit that fits inside a tooth

cavity.

Page 28: Future inovation

The circuit is able to recognize the jaw motions

of drinking, chewing, coughing, speaking, and smoking, and the results get sent directly to your

doctor’s smartphone.

developed by Zoltan Takats of Imperial College

London

Iron nanoparticlesStanford University School of Medicine created the iron nanoparticles.

Activate the immune system to attack cancer cells.

Commercially available as the injectable iron supplement ferumoxytol, are approved by the Food and Drug Administration to treat iron deficiency anemia.

Page 37: Future inovation

The mouse study found that ferumoxytol prompts immune cells called tumor-associated macrophages to destroy cancer cells, suggesting that the nanoparticles could complement existing cancer treatments.

Page 38: Future inovation

Patients often need chemotherapy but must wait until they recover from the operation to tolerate the severe side effects of conventional chemo. The iron nanoparticles lack the toxic side effects of chemotherapy, suggesting they might be given to patients during the surgical recovery period.
