About UsSince its start in 2003 back in the uK, Future Lifestyle has worked with some of the uK´s premier home-builders such as Laing homes and Countryside & Linden homes, designing and installing automation and integrated home entertainment systems in next generation homes all over the south east of England.

in 2006 we opened our Costa del Sol office on marbella’s golden mileand have been growing ever since.

the installation of a Cat5e/Cat6 and coaxial tV network gives the ability to install tV’s in each room and share sources such as, satellite set top boxes or any other video signal. the Cat5 cable is a multi use cable and can be used for transferring voice as well as data.

during most projects it is important to get the right control system and these days they do not have to be the kind of investment needed years ago. there are now systems that are capable of providing the same functionality as the more expensive systems people have heard about but dare not enquire about. For example, some systems are ‘modular’ and so only some of the system need be installed in the

beginning for the client to appreciate the benefits, while still being free to expand it later as they learn of its importance and practicality of use.

the interface of a system should be easy to navigate, even for first time users, so we prefer the use of icons that make starting & using the system a breeze.

Various technologies are available for displaying video but there is little doubt these days that the most popular type of tV is a ‘flatscreen’.

Flatscreen televisions can be mounted in many ways; flat, or flush in the wall, hung on an arm bracket so it can be angled and moved as required and ceiling mounted so the screen can be viewable from various angles.

however your flatscreen is to be fixed we can help. We calibrate our screen installations and can set them up in an audio surround sound set up if required.

There is much to debate on High fidelity, high end audio - from the right speakers to the components that drive them and of course the subject of cabling.

the main make up of a high end set up would be the amplifier equipment – pre amps and power amps are often combined and the source - usually a Cd player for high grade digital performance or

a turntable for more pure analogue results (although lossless digital formats are becoming popular too). And then for those real assertive listeners - power conditioners.

So whether your cable of choice is oxygen free, shielded, long crystal, resistant, high purity copper or silver speaker wire, why not let us help you with the rest…?



Multi-room Audio

Audio-video systems now have more playback functions than ever before. music servers are becoming ever present in homes these days and it is these machines that enable you to store your entire music collection centrally while being able to listen to the library in various rooms at the same time, thus eradicating a need for ‘stand alone systems’ to be bought and put in every area you might want your music played.

you might just need a simple audio-only system to enjoy your Cds, iPod, and satellite radio in multiple

rooms, or perhaps you’d prefer to dazzle your friends with an A/V setup through which you can watch tV controlled by an in-wall touchpanel in the bathroom. One of the more common configurations for a basic whole-house system is the six-source/six-zone setup, meaning you can send up to six different sources to six different areas of the house, each room controlled independently from the other. Another benefit of such a system is it is easily hidden away and can be located out of sight.



With the introduction of video servers a home can be multi-room video in a similar way it can be audio. using the same cable network video signals can be sent to every screen location via digital signalling - in high definition.

We recommend the installation of on-wall tV points to as many key positions as possible giving options of screen locations within rooms making the living space more flexible. the screens can then be moved around if later it is decided to change the décor of an area. Although we approach every project from a unique perceptive,

we follow a process to ensure that all parties involved in the work understand what to expect from a Future Lifestyle system and establish responsibility for each element of the project. The

On larger projects we produce a detailed design pack, creating an overlay from the original architectural drawings (when available) with a detailed tubing schematic showing the route & size of each tube that is to be installed (where applicable). you will also receive a cable schedule detailing each cable run, its use and reference number.

We can also provide a room by room specification outlining what will be possible in each area upon completion of the installation and what upgrades are possible later. At this point a detailed quotation of the project will be presented.

this documentation will show a component breakdown with the cost of the solution going into the project. We will establish payment terms which will be subject to the size of the project.

We invest time in getting the cable backbone of the installation right to ensure it all goes smoothly when we come to install product. this also ensures valuable time and money

is not wasted in the long term by preventing mistakes made during construction. it is good practice to work in this way so amounts of 1st fix materials and cable are not then ordered unnecessarily.

no matter what the size of project we are able to offer our advice. We offer clients the benefit of our knowledge and experience and are on hand to discuss ideas and requirements, not only for today but for any likely future technologies. We will discuss budgets and timescales for the project before presenting you with our ideas in a written proposal with an estimated cost of the project for your approval.

One of our project managers will be assigned to you and will be in charge of your project until the final handover. it will be their job to ensure that all parties involved in the project are briefed both onsite and in writing.

A schedule of works will be agreed with all required professionals onsite to ensure the project runs smoothly. the project manager will keep you up to date throughout the developments and be on hand to attend site for any meetings or issues that may occur.

Project Management in some cases a tube network will be required. this can either be

installed by our own team or by the onsite electrician, as required.

the 1st fix installation of the cabling will be performed by our team of trained engineers to ensure that all cables are run correctly and to the right length and left clearly labelled.

the 2nd fix process will commence once all the wet trades are completed. this involves terminating and testing all the cables that have been installed.

Once all parties agree the site is safe and dust free our engineers can begin the installation and configuration of the hardware.

Installation



Programming & Commissioning

All programming of any remotes or control panels is done in the Future Lifestyle office and then taken to site for testing. Here the system can be fine-tuned to ensure it works the way you want it to and set ups can be personalised.

We will use professional equipment to calibrate all parts of the system to ensure clients get the best possible performance out of their new Future Lifestyle

installation. the project manager will then give a full system demonstration, showing what each room and element of the system can do.

After a week or two of getting used to the set up a technician will return to make sure everything is working as it should be and make any adjustments if needed.

You’ll always have our full supportOnce a Future Lifestyle system is in place, we pride ourselves on being on hand to offer any aftercare that may be needed. We can provide easy to follow instructions to guide you through the new system with all the manufacturer’s manuals. A member of our technical support team will also be at the end of the phone for any queries you may have. All Future Lifestyle installations are covered by a one year installation guarantee as well as the manufacturer’s product warranties.

After the first year of the installation we offer a service agreement so clients can be safe in the knowledge that there is always someone available to help.
