To create a power point presentation using Netshare.net to demonstrate the future of books

Project focus:

1. E-books, e-book readers (Kindle, for example)

Introduces electronic readers and gives some examples

2. Future of literacy

Describes how Internet’s impact on literacy and how it enhances reading and writing

3. Issue of accessibility

Compares the differences between developed and developing country (both negative and positive aspects)

4. Libraries of the future positives, negatives, challenge

Describes how books are being transferred from paper to words on computer’s screen and gives advantages and disadvantages.

Make sure that you demonstrate in your introduction how the four aspects of your presentation work together. Maybe your umbrella concept is literacy: Books, accessibility and libraries fit better under this overarching concept. What do you think?

Provide an introduction and define important terms. At the end, provide a conclusion to wrap up your presentation.


Do you mean SLIDESHARE because I couldn’t find Netshare.com as a presentation platform?Each person should have a minumum of 10 slides (that would be for a C)Consider using prezi.com for your presentation. It’s more exciting that Slideshare and you can EASILY embed videos from Youtube. Hard to do in Slideshare.

We contact by email at least once a week to check on each other’s work

• How will you divide the work to ensure it is equitable?

Since there are only 2 members in our group so we divide work into 50/50 but we will be willing to help out if someone needs extra help.

• How will the slide be formatted?

At least three links per person.

Will you have a separate document for the Annotated Bibliography? Probably best...and email it to me after the project is done.. Have one person gather the information from everyone’s research. Ask people to give 1-2 sentences per source as an “annotation.”


Be sure that the final presentation flows and the slides work together in a coherent way.

What is your group’s penalty procedure?

The person who does not follow the process or fail to do his/her part will be reported to instructor and receive zero mark.
