FUTURE-ORIENTATED INJECTION MOLDING TECHNOLOGIES
2
Today innovative technologies support users in nearly all branches of the injection molding industry. They guarantee a balance between cost management, quality and efficiency in every stage of the product-, tool- and process development.
SimpaTec, one of the leading software and engineering partners for the plastic processing industry, offers professional engineering services and support for the development and optimization of injection molding components in every stage of the process. The University Gent is one of the major Belgian universities counting over 41,000 students and 9,000 employees. SimpaTec organizes the "Molding Innovation Day” in Gent, Belgium, on April 18, 2018 together with the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, one of the largest faculties which combines state-of-the-art research with top-notch education in all significant engineering and architecture fields.
During this one day event, we will introduce advanced processes and new prototyping technologies, share customers’ experiences about using special materials in production. Moreover, we will also introduce the new features of Moldex3D R16, and show the solutions for specific problems etc.
Addressed and invited are all persons who are interested in the topic “Innovative Molding Technologies”. Conference language is English.
Find out more! We look forward to your questions.
Only an ideal combination of innovative technology,
high-quality simulation and customer-oriented consulting services
make efficient way for product and process optimization.

A precise and solution-focused communication promotes reliable data, information and knowledge exchange and
transforms up-to-date developments successfully into future-oriented solutions. Find out more details and
comprehensive information about status, trends and innovations concerning molding injection technologies in the
exhibition area. We appreciate to welcome branch-known companies presenting their products and latest trends.
Special thanks for their support goes to our exhibitors and partners:
CONTURA MTC was founded in Menden
(Sauerland, Germany) in 2003.
2014, the company moved to a corporate building in the industrial park Hämmer in Menden. The building
includes modern, light-filled office rooms and the CONTURA Technikum with an adjoining conference room.
Currently, 20 employees work in the company.
CONTURA MTC delivers holistic temperature control systems for injection molding tools. The focus is on the
conceptual design of a suitable contour following tempering of tools. Moreover, the company offers customers
and prospects seminars and workshops, related to topics around conformal cooling. With the adjoining
‘Technikum’ are product testings, and mold provings possible, too (since 2016).
