For the week ending: Friday 16th March, 2018

Dear Parents

Today we look forward to welcoming home FV and FVI, who have been

away on their residential trip to the Isle of Wight. By all accounts, they

have had the most wonderful time – and the weather was kind! We look

forward to hearing all about their adventures next week. In their

absence, FIII and FIV have spent this week learning all about Ancient

Egypt and making some lovely – and very wearable – jewellery.

Just as we think Spring is finally here, we find that we are, once again,

going to be hit by freezing weather conditions this weekend. Please keep

safe and warm and keep an eye on the school website and emails for

updates.

Ancient Egypt Week – FIII & FIV

This week FIII and FIV have learned all about the ancient Egyptians. We have learned to write our

names in hieroglyphics, we have made amulets, necklaces and Egyptian masks and we have learned all

about the River Nile and the pyramids. We acted out a play from Ancient Egyptian times with a

theatre company and we held our own Ancient Egyptian Olympics.
