X-, Y-, Z-axes with Premium Linear Roller Guide Ways

The spindle is supported by four Class 7 (P4) angular contact ball bearings. The whole spindle unit is heat-treated, precision grinded, dynamic balanced, carefully assembled and tested to ensure superior dynamic running accuracy.

Two-Speed Range: The spindle has two-speeds that shift into high/low-gear spindle range and offers high torque output at low speed range for heavy-duty cutting and high-torque output at high-speed range for finish cutting. The idle running feature is convenient for work piece setup.

The entire travel of the table is fully supported by premium linear roller guide ways. Heavy-duty roller guide ways, with a 55mm width, are adopted at X-, Y-, Z-axes, which provides a better acceleration and stick-slip free, zero friction movement.

The X-axis is supported by 12 pieces and 16 pieces of sliding blocks on the FVM-3016DCL and FVM-4016DCL, respectively, to ensure optimum rigidity and accuracy of each machine.

• The ergonomic control box can swing for added operation convenience and the control box is equipped with a M.P.G. electrical handwheel for easier set up.

• In addition to Fanuc control, Heidenhain and Siemens controls are also available.

A powerful coolant system ensures optimal cooling for cutting tools and workpieces to avoid chip pile-up, scratches on work pieces, and work piece deformation.

The system prolongs the life of tooling and improves machining accuracy.

The main construction of the machine is a one-piece portal frame mounted on a one-piece structure that ensures the machining accuracy and stability.

3D integrated design and FEM (finite elements analysis) was utilized to develop this heavy-duty FVM-DCL Series for machining performance.

Di rect dr ive on X- , Y- , Z-axes ensures h igh transmission efficiency and minimizes backlash along with the reduction gear box, which also provides much higher torque for heavy-duty machining.
