On June 28, 2016 there will be an item up for a vote (Council File 16-0735) before the Planning and Land Use Management Committee and while I will not be able to attend the hearing, I would like to go on record that I am in FULL SUPPORT OF AN ICO FOR PICFAIR VILLAGE, modeled after Beverly Grove RFA, that will provide us the immediate protection from reckless overdevelopment that is occurring in our neighborhood.
The integrity of our neighborhood is at risk. Help us get the best neighborly design into our housing stock. Mid-City is a charming area where we care about one another and want to foster stronger relationships on each block. Our public spaces are our sidewalks, parkways and "lawns". It is important that the setbacks and driveways be at the maximum size possible. Setbacks encourage pedestrian mobility, while driveways maintain each family's buffer from the adjoining property.

On June 28, 2016 there will be an item up for a vote (Council File 16-0735) before the Planning and Land Use Management Committee and while I will not be able to attend the hearing, I would like to go on record that I am in FULL SUPPORT OF AN ICO FOR PICFAIR VILLAGE, modeled after Beverly Grove RFA, that will provide us the immediate protection from reckless overdevelopment that is occurring in our neighborhood.
The integrity of our neighborhood is at risk, let’s stop this mindless development.
