WARRANTYBacharach, Inc. warrants to Buyer that at the time of delivery this Product will be free from defects in material and manufacture and will conform substantially to Bacharach Inc.’s applicable specifications. Bacharach’s liability and Buyer’s remedy under this warranty are limited to the repair or replacement, at Bacharach’s option, of this Product or parts thereof returned to Seller at the factory of manufacture and shown to Bacharach Inc.’s reasonable satisfaction to have been defective; provided that written notice of the defect shall have been given by Buyer to Bacharach Inc. within one (2) years after the date of delivery of this Product by Bacharach, Inc.

Bacharach, Inc. warrants to Buyer that it will convey good title to this Product. Bacharach’s liability and Buyer’s remedy under this warranty of title are limited to the removal of any title defects or, at the election of Bacharach, to the replacement of this Product or parts thereof that are defective in title.

3.3 Connecting the Probe and ThermocoupleAttachtheprobeandhoseassemblytotheanalyzerasfollows(F�gure3-2):

3. PushtheFlueGasThermocouple�ntotheT-STACKjack

Important:DO NOT force the thermocouple connector into its jack. The connection tabs are different sizes, allowing the connector to fit in only one way.

4. Pushtheopt�onalcombust�on-a�rthermocouple�ntotheT-AIRjack.

Note: The optional combustion-air thermocouple provides a convenient way to measure the burner’s combustion-air temperature when its temperature is not the same as room air. If this thermocouple is not used, then a separate mea-surement of the combustion-air temperature must be made using the probe’s thermocouple during the analyzer’s warm-up period.

Inspecttheflue-gashoseforcracks.Replacethehose�f�t�sdefect�ve.

Beforeus�ngtheanalyzer,checkthattheWaterTrap/F�lter�sdryandnotd�rty.Ifnecessary,dryoutthetrapandreplacethef�lterelementperSect�on5.8.

5.0 CAlIBRATION & MAINTeNANCeImportant:Fresh batteries should be installed, or use the optional AC adapter to power the analyzer during calibra-tion. The unit should be allowed to stabilize at room temper-ature for at least 2 hours before proceeding with calibration. To maintain accuracy as listed in the Technical Character-istics Section of this manual, the standards used must be at least four times as accurate as the stated accuracy of the Fyrite Pro.

Drain the water condensate after every test.

Procedure:

2. Pouroutallwatercondensate;thenreassembletrap.

Replace the Filter element when dirty.

c. W�ththeanalyzeron�tsback,removethefrontcover,lay�ng�tfacedowntotheleftofthebody.

d. Carefullyremovethec�rcu�tboard,sl�pp�ngoffthebatterycon-nectorontop,andthenlay�ngthec�rcu�tboardfacedown�nthetopcover.

2. Sl�pofftheoxygensensor’selectr�calconnectorfromthec�rcu�tboard.Thenpushdown;tw�stcounterclockw�se;thenpulltheoxy-gensensoroutof�tssocket(seeF�gure5-4).Tip:To obtain a better grip on the oxygen sensor, it may be necessary to remove the screw that secures the sensor socket to the case.

3. Us�ngtheoldsensorasagu�de,removethepaperback�ngfromthenewsensorgasketconta�ned�nthereplacementk�t,andadhere�ttothenewsensor.

4. D�sposeoftheoldoxygensensor�napropermanner(seethe�n-struct�onsheetthatcomesw�ththenewsensor).

5. Mountthenewoxygensensor�n�tssocket.Ifthesensorsocketwasremoved�nStep2,re-attach�ttothecase.

6. Plugtheoxygensensor’selectr�calconnector�ntothepr�ntedc�rcu�tboard(observepolar�ty,seeF�gure5-5),andthenreassembletheanalyzer.

Note: The sensor may take several hours to stabilize after being connected to the printed circuit board.

4. It�srecommendedthattheCOsensorgasketbereplacedatthesamet�measthesensor.Removetheoldgasketandd�scard.Re-movethepaperback�ngfromthenewgasketandadhere�ttothecase�nthesamepos�t�onastheoldone.

Important: Ensure that the new gasket does not restrict the inlet and exhaust holes in the case.

5. PlugthenewCOsensor�nto�tssocket.
