Before you can start using EMPOWER on a mobile device, you will need to download the Salesforce Moble App from either iTunes or the Google Play store.

Prior to downloading the Salesforce Mobile App, ensure your property has created a generic iTunes log-in for users, or create a new log-in using your work credentials

1.1Open the iOS App Store, then search for and download the Salesforce Mobile App.

Open the Google Play Store*, then search for and download the Salesforce Mobile App.* Users in China can download the app at:

Accept the terms and conditions to continue.

Open the Salesforce Mobile App and Agree to the terms and conditions.

Enter the Host and Label listed below, then click Done.Host: marriottintl.my.salesforce.comLabel: GXP

Click Add Connection.

Click on the three dots, and click Change Server.

1.6 1.6Click Allow to verify that notifications are turned on for the app.

Enter GXP in the Name field, enter the URL https://marriottintl.my.salesforce.com then click Apply.

Navigate to iOS Settings and click on Notifications. Locate your Salesforce Mobile App and click on it.

Ensure all notifications are turned on and your Alert Style is set to Alerts.

Select the new Connection and click Apply.1.7

Log into GXP on your desktop and navigate to your drop-down menu and click on Cases. Recommended web browsers are Firefox and Chrome.

Continue to the next page for Logging In. Follow Steps 8-9 for iOS (steps are on the left side of this page) before completing the next steps on page 5.

Make sure you click on the following list views in order to see them on your mobile device:

Access the Settings menu and select both Push Notification Settings and Device Alert Settings.

Make sure you navigate to your Volume settings and turn your Notifications all the way up.

Choose audible settings for the Push Notification.

We recommend selecting a unique and audible ringtone for your notifications.

• Click on any additional list views you would like to see on your mobile device. Completing this step once on the desktop / laptop version of the platform ensures that you will be able to see these views on your mobile device.

Enter your EID and Password, then click Sign In.

Click on the three dots, and click Reload to return to the Salesforce Mobile App.
