◎She had died of grief that kills.

◎We can see this story as western women’s sadness of being constrained by men.

• “Lost Lives of Women” tells another story about eastern world.

◎Women equals to men’s belongings.◎Men own many concubines who would be discarded away once men lose interests.

◎ There are still many gender issues prop out every day and it seems that there is no solution to the problem.

◎ World War I leads to the shortage of labor due to men were sent to the battlefront.

◎ Western women’s status is keep rising by feminist campaigns.

◎ Until eastern countries become colonized by western explorers.

◎ Women have the chance to learn, to think, to challenge and change the old thinking.

Report pointed out that women in Asia-Pacific area lack powers of politics and economy.

◎Women in Taiwan face dilemmas when they try to challenge higher positions.

Difference between Western and Eastern cultures: the female military
