Helen Keller

Helen Keller was born in 1860 in Alabama, in the United States.Her story is so interesting because he was a different woman.When she was only 19 months old, she got very sick and shebecame blind and deaf. She stopped talking because shecouldn’t see or see. Her parents were worried so they lookedfor a teacher when Helen was seven years old. Helen’s teacherwas Anne Sullivan. She taught Helen to speak using words andsign language. Helen learned so much with her teacher. Helengave many conferences and wrote books about her life andexperiences. Although she couldn’t see or hear she could learn.

Luis Pasteur was born in Dole, France, on December 27 th, 1822. Hediscovered that germs and microbes cause diseases. He establishedmethods of sterilization. He was the first person to develop and use vaccinesthat helped animals and people. He developed “pasteurización” This is a

technique that killed the microbes that contaminated food products butdid not destroy the nutrients. He was an extraordinary and talentedscientist. He died at the age of 73.

Luis Pasteur nació en Dole, Francia el 27 de Diciembre de 1822. Él descubrió que losgermenes y microbios causan enfermedades. Él estableció métodos de esterilización, fué laprimera persona en mejorar y utilizar vacunas que ayudaran a los animales y la gente. Élmejoró la pazteurización. Ésta es una técnica que mataba los microbios que contaminabanproductos de comida pero no destruía los nutrientes. El fué un científico extraordinario ytalentoso. Murió a la edad de 73 años.
