Introduction to «ASK Travelport»

«ASK Travelport» is an easy-to-use tool that provides access to an online Help Knowledge bank. «ASK Travelport» gives you access to the support you need, when you need it. You will find all the answers on the most frequently asked questions.

To access «ASK Travelport»

To access «Ask Travelport» use one of the following solutions: � Go to http://www.travelport.com/ch and select the «Ask Travelport-Link»:

� Go to the «Travelport Customer Portal» with the following link: https://ch.travelportservices.com and click on the «Ask Travelport» button.

� Click on the «Ask Travelport» button on your Galileo Desktop

(Refer to page 19 of this document to install the «Ask Travelport» button)

If it is your first visit to «ASK Travelport» , select «Create a New Account»:

To create your new account you need your Galileo PCC (Pseudo City Code) and your Galileo Customer number (CIDB). Your Galileo PCC may be found in Galileo with the input «QCA»:

Fill in the mask and select «Create Account»:

Enter a user name and a password (may be anything you want)

Fill in the mask with the requested information’s, including the CRS, your Galileo Customer Number and Pseudo City Code (PCC)

Select If you want to receive automatically the product advisories by email or not.

Select If you want to receive automatically service messages by email or not.

Select If you want to take part in opinion surveys or not.

Select If you want to receive Partner Messages or not.

Click on “Create Account” to finish

You have now access to the «ASK Travelport» content. A confirmation email will be sent automatically to the email address entered in your profile.

To have full access to all available «ASK Travelport» services, you must open the email sent to you by the system, select the link it contains and then click on the «Activate» button.

For the next login, you will complete your «Username» and «Password» directly in the «Returning Users» area:

Search for Information in «ASK Travelport»

On the main mask choose «Answers» and type a keyword, a question or an answer number in the «Search» field, and then hit the Search button.

Enter a «Keyword» or a «Question» or an «Answer number» and click on «Search»

Choose the answer you want to display by clicking on the corresponding link

���� Advanced Search

To restrict your search to answers associated with a specific selection, chose «Advanced Search» , complete the mask with search terms and select a category from the drop down menu. The answers returned by your search will be automatically sorted to display the most relevant answer at the top of the list. If you want to sort the answers by other criteria, click the «Sort By» menu and select an option. The «Direction» menu gives you the possibility to sort in ascending or descending order.

Product Advisories via «ASK Travelport»

Type «product advisories» or «PA» in the «Search» field.

Enter « product advisory » or « pa » in the Search Field and click on Search

Choose the Product Advisory you want to display by clicking on the corresponding link

You have now the possibility to open a Word document (if available) or the PDF document to display the Product Advisory in detail.

You may rate this answer and send a comment by clicking on the stars (select only the first left star to send a comment)

You can click on other relevant answers or on previously viewed answers

You can share, print, email this answer or be notified as soon as it will be updated.

Automatic Update Notification

If you wish to be automatically informed by email of the modifications made to any answers of Ask Travelport, click on the button «Notify Me» at the end of the Answer.

As soon as the Answer is modified, you will receive an email inviting you to consult the last updates with a link to click on to access the modified answer. For Product Advisories this Update Notification is handled in your account (see page 5).

Important note regarding your Spam filter: The «ASK Travelport» update notification Email is sent globally with [email protected] as sender and «Updated Answer Notification» as subject.

This Email may be blocked by your Spam filter (protection against Email sent in mass). If it is like this, you should manually authorise Emails from the sender (Travelport or Galileo Switzerland). If necessary, contact your Email administrator.

If you have questions click on «Ask a Question» and fill in the mask:

Click on «Continue» to submit your Question.

My Stuff

Choose «My Stuff» to access your account overview. From this page you may update your account settings or change your password.

To display the support history select «Support History» and to display or update your notifications select «Notifications» from the drop down list.

Click on the link to update your settings or change your password

To leave «ASK Travelport»

To leave «ASK Travelport» click on rather than on «Logout» . In this manner at the time of your next visit to «ASK Travelport» , you will be automatically directed to the main window, without passing by the «login» mask.

This works only if you always access «ASK Travelport» on the same PC and if you do not delete the «Internet Cookies» . If you would like to access «ASK Travelport» from another PC, from where no login to «ASK Travelport» has been made before, you will be asked to type your «User Name» and «Password» .

Forgotten Password

If you have forgotten your User Name or Password, click on the link and complete the mask with the requested information’s.

Click on this link and complete the following mask

Complete the field and click on «Email My Username» or «Reset my Password», depending on the situation

Integrate «ASK Travelport» in your browser environment

���� Save «Ask Travelport» as a «Favorite»

From the «ASK Travelport» main window, select «Favorites» in your browser and then «Add to Favorites».

Name your new Favorite and confirm with «OK»:

«ASK Travelport» may now be accessed directly with a click on the «Favorite».

First exit Viewpoint or Galileo Desktop. Then log into our internet home page: http://ch.travelportservices.com :

Now select “Get your buttons” on the right hand side of the page:

Now you can select «Click to install» on the right hand side and all available buttons will be installed

«ASK Travelport» may now be easily opened from your Focalpoint, Viewpoint or Galileo Desktop environment with a click on the button:
