It is the capital of County Galway, Ireland. The city is on the west coast of the island.

with abundant rain all the year, especially from March to August. The wind is constant too.

Why is Galway famous?
Galway is famous around the world for:
- The horse races: They are in July and more than 200.000 people go there.

• The Oyster Festival is every September and it’s a good opportunity to know the city, the food (salmon) and the people.
