Call of Duty – Black OPS 2
Published by Activision and Treyarch

Story
Call of Duty Black Ops 2 is set in 2025 with backstory flashbacks to the 1980s. You play David Mason; a US Special Forces Operative. David and his partner Harper
undertake covert operations to track down the notorious villain Raul Menendez who has hijacked the US military infrastructure to further his own ambitions harnessing the power of near-future technology and robotics.
In the flashback missions you play as Alex Mason and the rise of Raul Menendez is explained as the story unfolds. In one level you play as the villain himself and run amok with a shotgun and can’t die. David Mason is Alex Mason’s son and continues to track down Menendez to revenge the death of his father. In a plot twist there is a point where Alex Mason may reappear at the end of the game depending on the choice taken by one of the characters.
Graphics
The graphics are good but they are a bit cartoony compared to other games so there could be quite a bit of improvement made to the graphics. The guns and the surroundings are good but the gameplay doesn’t match the quality of the cut scenes modelled on live action.
Music
The music is appropriate to the gameplay.

Gameplay
This is a popular ‘first person shooter’ where you have to be fast to react to shoot the enemy to avoid being killed in the game
There are a lot of different maps. You have a variety of weapons and equipment to choose from before you start each mission. Weapons can be picked up off fallen enemy. This is quite a complex game but skills are easy to pick up.
Gameplay is smooth and responsive when played on a console; PC gamers might find this more difficult if using a keyboard.
Raul Manendez is a Nicaraguan political activist and the primary antagonist in the game voiced by: Kamar de los Reyes.
